Chapter 3: Cursed Mobius
(A.K.A. The world sure is a mess, isn't it?)
Sark Palace, Planet Mobius
I bet you're wondering how Mobius has been since we left very briefly. Well, it hasn't gone well for the good guys to say the least. Within a short amount, Sark had already taken over the entire planet and was holding our heroes prisoner in the depths of his new palace, which was floating above the ocean off the coast of the Mystic Ruins. He was nice enough to let them be alone before they would be subject to his plan.
8 prisoners, 4 cages, 2 people inside them at once.
Shadow with Blaze, Knuckles with Rouge, Silver with Maria, and Tails and Amy since Sark killed the former's wife and banished the latter's husband. You see where I'm going with this?
"I cant believe it. I just can't. This isn't real." Tails was in an emotionless state, still stunned that his wife died right in his arms, seeing his two daughters and son, along with his nieces and nephews going through a portal into who knows where, not to mention his best friend being teleported off world.
"Tails." Amy walked over and sat next to him. "I know you're still upset about Cream..."
"Upset doesn't even come close to describing what I feel. I understand how goths feel now." Tails interrupted.
"We're all shaken. She was my best friend. Hell, she was my little sister. I'm hurting just as bad as you."
Tails looked at Amy with an angry expression.
"No, you're not! I lost my wife and children!"
"So did I, Tails! I watched my son and daughter go down the same fucking portal as yours, so don't tell me I don't know how you feel because I do! You lost a wife and brother, I lost a husband and sister, and on top of that, we all lost our kids! I did, you did, Knuckles and Rouge did, and Shadow and Blaze did! You're not alone Tails!"
Tails' ears drooped.
"You're right, Amy. I'm sorry, everyone. I'm just not in a good place right now." Tails apologized.
"None of us are, Tails. We don't know if Sonic or our kids are alive." Amy patted Tails' shoulder.
"If I lose my kids, my life will be over, but I know one thing, Sonic's alive. We may not know where he is, but I know he's alive. He'll find a way to get back to us." Tails proclaimed.
"You're right! My Sonikku never gives up and faces every challenge head on! He'll be back!" Amy added.
Everyone else nodded at Amy's statement.
