- Third Person POV -

"Hey!" Jeonghan barged into Seungcheol's office carrying the boy.

Seungcheol eyes widened at the scene in front of him.

"Uhmm... I believe he's yours." Jeonghan spoke with his eyes twitching.

"Papa!" Chan turned into a starfish in Jeonghan's arms.

"He wandered off into my clinic." Jeonghan handed Chan to Seungcheol. "Here you go."

"Right..." Seungcheol blinked. If he was honest, he would admit that Chan looked good in Jeonghan's arms.

"Oh, and this one too, I almost forgot about it." Jeonghan pulled out the stuffed dog with its broken arm stitched together from his pocket and handed it to Chan.

"Wait, how did you know?" Seungcheol asked. Seriously how did Jeonghan know Chan was Seungcheol's kid?

"The resemblance is uncanny. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out." Jeonghan poked Seungcheol's forehead. "More importantly who lets his own kid wander off like that? Geez, you really are an idiot—"

Jeonghan stopped seeing Seungcheol pout and Chan looking at him with admiration. "..."

"Ugh... Never mind." Jeonghan fake coughed turning around. "Just keep an eye on him before he gets into even more trouble."

"I know that!" Seungcheol's pout didn't disappear.

"Papa! He's so cool!" Chan exclaimed referring to Jeonghan.

Jeonghan walked out of his office and bumped into an old lady.

"Is Cheol in there?" She asked.

"Oh yeah. He's inside." Jeonghan smiled to her stepping out of the clinic.

"Oh, come on, I don't mind even if it's in the basement." Jeonghan desperately needed a place to live. He was scrolling through his computer endlessly.

"Han, someone wants to see you." Jisoo entered his office.

"A patient? Let them in." Jeonghan turned around in his chair.

And then his eyes shot open. "Ah?"

"H-Hello, vet doctor." Chan stood holding his stuffed dog that had its other arm broken.

"It's the kid again!" Jeonghan held his head. He did not have time to babysit.

"My name is Lee Chan, not kid." Chan pouted.

"R-Right... Chan, is it?" Jeonghan smiled bending down in front of Chan.

"Yes, but you can call me Chanie 'cause you're cool and I like you!" Chan smiled back.

"I see Chanie. Does your dad know you're here? He must be really worried."

"But... But... Papa's busy and this is an emergency!" Chan trotted past Jeonghan.

"Eh? An emergency?" Jeonghan watched Chan onto his chair and placed the stuffed dog on his table. "Chanie

"Pippo broke his arm and Papa tried to fix him, but he made it worse. His arm fell right off! It's because Pops is a doggy and Papa's a doctor for humans! But you're an animal doctor, right? You can fix him" Chan pulled out a wallet from his pocket. "Don't worry, I have money to pay for it!"

"Eh? A wallet?" Jeonghan took hold of the wallet and looked inside.

Seungcheol...

Seungcheol looked hilarious with his short hair. It reminded Jeonghan of a camel.

"Pffft... That hair." Jeonghan laughed. "Your dad's got nothing on you, huh?"

"Fix Pippo, please?"

"Alright, I'll try fixing him but after that, you have to go back to your dad, okay?"

"Okay!"

"And promise me no more sneaking out!"

"Chanie promise!"

A while later Jeonghan was done fixing the stuffed dog.

"There you go, good as new!"

"Yay!" Chan laughed happily and then stretched out his arms. "Hah!"

"Huh?" Jeonghan looked at him in confusion.

"Thank you hug!" Chan beamed and jumped hugging Jeonghan.

"Oh..." Jeonghan laughed as he hugged him back. "You're welcome, Chanie."
