- Third Person POV -

"Some haunted house realness, right?" Seungcheol asked playfully.

There stood a large house two stories high with a width of 5 cars that looked dark gloomy and scary. There was a high black metal fence that separated them from the house's lawn.

The sun began to set overhead as they simply stared at the place feeling a little scared.

"Yeah, the kind that curses you forever the moment you set foot in it." Junhui chuckled.

"She lived here all her life so it's likely she still comes home here." Jeonghan spoke.

"So, she gets food from us and goes back here?" Minghao asked.

"It's a possibility, yeah," Jeonghan answered continuing. "Something must have happened. She may have gotten sick or given birth, that's why she didn't show up. Either way, she's a stray and not a feral. The best thing to do is to find her and give her a new home."

"Even if she's inside the gate is locked. We'd be trespassing." Junhui cocked an eyebrow.

"Ah, but it's only trespassing if we get caught." Seungcheol attached himself to the fence as he began climbing.

"Cheol!" Minghao exclaimed wanting to pull Seungcheol down.

"You guys heard the vet. We don't have time to waste." In seconds Seungcheol hopped on the other side of the fence.

"I hate to agree but Cheol is right." Jeonghan gulped as he too attached himself to the fence. "We need to know if she's in there or not."

Jeonghan climbed carefully and Seungcheol had time on his hands to joke around.

"Careful! Don't let the babies get skewered!" Seungcheol smirked.

"Shut up!" Jeonghan exclaimed carefully turning over the spike to the other side.

"You too..." Junhui gulped.

"Up you go..." Minghao lifted Junhui from his waist.

"E-Eh?!" Junhui blushed. "You too, Ming?!"

Now they were all on the other side of the fence as they walked to the front door.

"Let's see if I still know how to pick locks." Seungcheol rummaged in his pocket and then with the door's lock.

"Why do you even have that skill in the first place?" Junhui's eyes twitched.

"Hehe!"

Jeonghan peeked into the house through the window. The window was nailed with wood but there were openings he could look through.
