"Dose no. 99 pass... Test Subject 113 pass..." A man bald head dressed down in a stale white lab coat checked off boxes on a paper on his clipboard.
It was a quiet room with no sound, with a chemical-driven scent. The white walls caged the 3 people inside the room as if they could never step out. There were four cameras—one each attached to the four corners of the room—that stared down registering everything they saw.
The man stood near a metal bed on which lay a handsome young man. His jet-black hair was a devilish mess as his face burned red from the dose intake—though it naturally was a pale peach. His eyes half open and rolled up making him look dead with his pale blue lips—which originally were cherry red.
His hands were cuffed to the sides along with his leg restricting his movement—as if he wanted to make any in his death-like state. His veins were visible and green even to the naked. He wore a plain orange t-shirt and pants—as if he were a prisoner but even that wasn't so far from reality.
On his neck was a beeping broad black collar that kept his heartbeat in check. There was a large black tattoo of an oak tree on his back—which he did not know how he had gotten—that stretched from his shoulders to the base of his spine.
The young man could not feel his limbs, his nervous system was not functioning. Nevertheless, he was awake in his state as he fluttered open his eyes breathing out. He looked at the ceiling wondering where he was and what had happened to him.
