- Third Person POV -

"This is the last one we can't feed her too much." Jeonghan explained to Chan as he fed the dog.

"Okay!" Chan exclaimed. "Papa said we can't adopt a puppy right now because he's busy. But Uncle will get one right?"

"Look at you, I bet your Dad taught you how to make that face. We'll see okay? If one of them doesn't get adopted, I'll probably take that, so we'll have to wait." Jeonghan sighed.

"Yay!"

"Hi! Are you the vet? They told me to talk to you regarding the dog with special needs." A woman approached Jeonghan and Chan.

"Yes, of course. Can you give me a minute?" Jeonghan smiled and then turned to Chan. "Chan, I need to take care of a few things from now. Stay with your Dad for a but, I'll continue introducing to you to the dogs later, alright? He's just over there with Mr. Lui."

"Okay see you later Uncle!" Chan trotted into the crowd.

He walked bumping into people until he lost site of Seungcheol.

"Hm?" He stopped walking and looked around. "Where... Where's Papa?"

And suddenly a man caught his eye. "Oh! There!"

Chan can to the man and took hold of his hand. "Papa, uncle told me to—"

"Oh... Hello? Are you lost?" The man turned to look at Chan.

Chan froze knowing he messed up as he immediately let go of the man's hand and shriveled backwards. "S-Sorry... You're not..."

He accidently tripped behind and fell down.

Thud!

"N-No..." Tears welled up in his eyes. "I... I... Got lost again..."

"Waaaa! Nooo! I wanna keep seeing Papa!" Chan cried out loud.

And just like magic Jeonghan and Seungcheol appeared in front of Chan together.

"Chan, are you okay? Are you hurt?" Jeonghan smiled.

"It's okay we're here now." Seungcheol smiled.

"Uuuu..." Chan jumped hugging both of them. "Papa! Uncle!"

Seungcheol took his chance slipping his hand around Jeonghan's torso.

"Let's eat!" Seungcheol cheered as they sat down on a bench together with Chan between them.

"Thanks!" Chan exclaimed holding onto his juice.

"There's less people now so I can finally take a quick break." Jeonghan sighed.

"Yeah, you've been standing there all day." Seungcheol smiled. "How about you, Chan? Feeling better?"

"Mhmmm..." Can hummed. "I didn't want to get lost because of what Grandpa said."

"Your dad promised that he won't let that happen, remember?" Jeonghan looked at Chan. "When it's all worked out, there will be rules that even your Grandpa has to follow. Rules that say you can't be taken away from your Dad."

"You can do that, Papa?" Chan looked up at Seungcheol.

"Yes, I'll work hard for that. There might be a few changes we have to do along the way thing. When that time comes, Chan You're okay with those changes, okay? I will never get mad at you for saying that feel. Always remember that. If you don't like something, just tell Papa." Seungcheol patted Chan's head.

"Hmm? What kind of changes?"

"For example, someday you might have to choose if you want to live with your grandparents or with me. When that happens don't worry about us adults. Your feelings are the most important, choose what will make you the happiest."

"I understand... but..." Chan perked up. "Can I choose Uncle's Vet clinic? All three of us can live in his clinic with all the pets!

"..." Seungcheol and Jeonghan were... "..."

"Hahahaha! So in the end you choose the pets, huh? I mean, I did say whatever makes you the happiest. Sorry, I don't think your Uncle is one of the choices." Seungcheol blushed looking into Jeonghan's eyes with his hand placed behind Chan on the bench. "But who knows? Maybe if you pick me you might get him too."

"Oh? What makes you so sure?" Jeonghan raised an eyebrow biting his lower lips with his hand placed behind Chan on the bench.

"Just a feeling~"

"Because we're like buy 1 take 1 eternally stuck together neighbors?"

"Yeah, something like that."

Seungcheol moved his hand over Jeonghan's and intertwined his fingers with his subtlety.

Jeonghan turned furiously crimson gripping onto Seungcheol's hand as though he never wanted to let go.

Seungcheol smiled to himself and then looked at Jeonghan's face loving it.

"HAN! There you are!" Koko yelled running over to Jeonghan.

"M-Miss Koko! Hi!" Jeonghan immediately ripped his hand away from Seungcheol acting as though everything was normal.

"H-Hello!" Seungcheol stuttered waving his hand.

"We're getting ready to wrap up the event." Koko smiled. "But before that, I want to gather everyone who helped out with this. Meet up with us near the back gate when you're done here, okay? You too Dr. Choi."

"Me? But I didn't do anything?" Seungcheol pointed at himself.

"That's not true! Just show up later, both of you."

"O-Okay!"
