- Third Person POV -

"Those two... Might as well give them time alone, they're practically begging for it." Mingyu stretched his hands walking down the street towards the meat shop.

"Han... He's surprisingly sensible. I can see why Cheol is drawn to him." Mingy talked to himself out loud. "If Cheol won't listen to me... Maybe Han can convince him."

GROWL!

"Ugh... I should've taken some food before leaving. Hmm... I wonder if that guy will feed me."

Creak!

Mingyu entered the meat shop.

"Sorry, we're closed." Minghao's head snapped to the door.

"MING!" Mingyu exclaimed stepping inside with a big smile.

"Mingyu?" Minghao's face turned stone cold he wasn't in the mood to deal with crazy.

"I'll be having a burger with fries!"

"Can't you read? This is a meat shop."

"Aww~ You still can't get a joke! Good 'ol Ming!" Mingyu hugged Minghao clinging to him.

"Shouldn't you be in another country or something?" Minghao hugged him back.

"Well, I'm here aren't I?"

"Umm..."

"So yeah... I left my wallet in Cheol's car, I don't have keys to the house so I'm starving..."

"Come with me." Minghao sighed.

><><><><

"Honestly, how did you even get into this situation?" Mingyu placed a sandwich in front of Mingyu in a plate on the table.

"I was doing god's work." Mingyu smiled taking hold of the sandwich. "You know, just sorting things out for a couple if clueless lovebirds. It's a complicated job."

"So they're asking you to fix their problems? That's weird."

"Not really but I insist on helping out."

"If they didn't ask for it then why go through the trouble? Who knows? They might not even want your help and you're just wasting your time."

"I'm helping out 'cause I care! They'll thank me for this later."

"Alright, I hope you know what you're doing." Minghao sighed.

"Of course, I do. I have more experience than those two combined."

"Experience? What are you gonna do? Teach them how to break up in two week's time? How to become the town's official infamous Ex?"

"Gosh! You say it like it's a bad thing. I simply have lots of love to give."

"I doubt you loved any of them.

"It's the same thing, It's just that my kind of love likes variety," Mingyu smirked. "But do you know what kind of love really matters?"

"O-One based in mutual trust and respect?" Minghao blushed at the thought of Junhui.

"WRONG!" Mingyu stood up pointing at Minghao. "The love and fulfillment you'll get from taking care of a pet! That's why you should support our upcoming adoption drive!"

"I'm not sure if I can keep pets just yet." Minghao crossed his hands.

"Then help me spread the word!"

"So you really came here to advertise?"

"No, I'm here for food but might as well hit two birds with one stone."

"..."

"You know what? You just gave me an idea. How about you help me find my exes so I can sweet talk them all into adopting?"

"You've been here for five minutes and I'm already exhausted."

><><><><

"Here's the menu." The waitress brought the menu for Seungcheol and Jeonghan.

"Thank you." They spoke in unison taking the menu as they read down the list. "..."

"You know, maybe we shouldn't have let your stinking rich friend leave." Jeonghan whispered referring to Mingyu as his piggy bank.

"N-No, it's fine. The food is really good, it's worth it." Seungcheol himself was scared of the high prices.

"Still..."

"Besides you can't call yourself an official townie without tasting the food here! It's like an initiation!" Seungcheol smiled.

"Okay, if you say so..." Jeonghan chuckled looking at the view. "I guess the view is worth it."

"Mhmm... The moon is shining beautifully tonight." Seungcheol commented.

"Yeah, but you know what shines even brighter?" Jeonghan smirked.

"What?" Seungcheol looked at him.

"This baby right here. No moon can beat this." Jeonghan swished his hair back showing off his forehead.

"BAHAHAHA! When did you learn to make fun of yourself? Hahaha!" Seungcheol laughed out loud clutching his stomach.

"Haha! Get a grip Cheol. It's just another forehead joke."

"It hits different when you say it! Hahaha! God, my stomach hurts."

"You complimented it, so I had the urge to do the opposite just to settle the score." Jeonghan chuckled.

"Competitive Han is back again! You can't just let me have the last word, huh?" Seungcheol smiled.

"That and because I feel like you needed a good laugh. You seem down lately."

"..." Seungcheol picked up the cup of water holding it up to his lips for a sip. "Hehe~ And here I thought I've gotten good at hiding it."

"Idiot. The problem with humans is that they can't seem to follow their own advice. Luckly, it was a persistent camel who told me not to keep all my problems to myself. He said friends might be able to carry the weight for you, but just having someone there makes a difference." Jeonghan smiled. "I do hope Mr. Camel is better at taking his own advice than most of us."

"I see..." Seungcheol was relieved to have Jeonghan by his side. "Han, I was wondering if you could help me with something."
