shinji ikari had spent a hundred and ten years inside castle avorion, despite this he has not aged, this was do to his new enhancements, from being injected with the entirety of EVA unit-13, despite not having an S2 engine shinji realized he didn't need it, as the only thing the S2 engine could have added to him, was an AT-field, but because he was stronger, faster, and more resilient then most anyone else out there it became rather redundant
he also only ever had SERAPH to talk to in that time
at first it was do to his fear and insecurities but as time went by, and as he spoke to the ever logical AI known as SERAPH he eventually came to several conclusions the first being that humanity was not worthy of his time or his effort, especially the humanity of earth, they wanted to blame him for the hell that transpired, fine but he had no reason to help them then
seraph had created a small army of machines that's purpose was to defend the castle from any would-be dungeon conquerors, the prometheans would defend this base to their last although their true purpose was simply to stall the enemy until shinji could board tsukihime, his newly reborn evangelion, tsukihime being an evangelion was next to unstoppable, and had destroyed multiple attempts at 'conquering' avorion
he has however let some escape, mostly the unwilling dragons who had been forced on the missions by their masters, shinji would kill said masters, use his expansive resources to heal the dragons back to good health then send them on their way in a very luxurious transport, those dragons had begun referring to shinji as the 'reaper' since they never saw him in person, and had only seen his very demon looking evangelion
the reaper was known to be kind to those in need, but would not tolerate someone attempting to steal his home
the hundred and twenty four year old man, in a seventeen year old body, was looking over a file supplied by SERAPH
in order to keep himself occupied he has SERAPH keep him up to date on the political addendums of the galaxy, it seems the kingdom of avalon was losing a rather bloody civil war, which was made worse by the kryllan, which were insectoid monsters that were huge, roughly have the size of his EVA, but they came in much greater numbers then the EVAs and because they were mindless beasts you had only to fight them
"master there is a transport craft nearing the castle" SERAPH said
"another bunch of fools, i'd hoped they learn at this point" i said with a sigh
"i do not believe they are the so called 'conquerors' master" SERAPH said, my eyebrow raised
"give me control of a warden" i said
"of course master" SERAPH said, as soon as i had control, i transferred the camera readings from the warden to my main monitor in my office, as the shuttle landed and the hatch opened
"lady schnee i really don't think" a female voice started
"i know, what you are thinking but my options are few, and i refuse to let my father sell me to that bastard" the young white haired girl said as she stepped off the platform, and onto the fortress itself, followed by a brown haired mature looking woman, wearing a purple jumpsuit
"my lady, your sister-" the brown haired woman started
"has done nothing, she has left me behind to deal with my father, while she is in the war" weiss replied
"it is not common for us to receive guests" the warden spoke, as even when i had control of the warden, it's AI was still active allowing it to communicate, though i did give minor directions on what was to be said
"are you the reaper" the white haired woman asked
"if i were" the warden said
"then i weiss schnee former heiress to the schnee family, hereby request asylum" she said
"you come to request asylum, within a dungeon" the warden said, feigning surprise, as the AI couldn't feel emotions, but shinji was surprised
"i do, i have heard that you treat those in need, especially dragons, quite well" the girl said
"and what if i wish to claim you as my own, we do not house anyone here, and i have little trust in your loyalties" the warden asked at my direction, the girl hesitated, but only for a few moments
"if that is what is required of me, then very well" she said
"why do you make such a choice" the warden asked
"i would be choosing to serve you, whereas i would have no choice otherwise" weiss said, the warden paused
"come" the warden said, as the two girls followed her, eventually they came to a door
"the master is inside" the warden said as he walked to a wall, which opened and he turned to face the other direction before stepping back into the wall, they say the machine power down as the wall closed, weiss hesitantly hit the switch, that would activate the doorchime
