As I walked into the classroom, I couldn't help but wonder why this school had such an early schedule. I mean, 7 am is too early for me. However, my mood lifted as I was greeted by my classmates, who welcomed me with open hearts and friendly smiles.

"Good morning Samantha!" they said, almost in unison. I was pleasantly surprised by their kindness and cheerfulness, given that this was just an average university, according to the reviews.

I sat and waited for class to start, but Lennard was nowhere to be found. Given our past, I knew he wouldn't take my sudden appearance lightly. I felt guilty about what had happened between us and hoped I could fix things and that he would forgive me

I know he will not take this easy that I appeared suddenly for years. What happened in the past I felt guilty, like something is heavy in my heart that I couldn't understand. But I'm hoping I can fix things and what I have done I hope he will forgive me.

As I was lost in thought, a stranger approached me.

"Hi Samantha," he said, introducing himself as Haru. "I'm the handsome guy in this school. Are you single?"

I hesitated before responding, but someone pulled Haru's ear before I could say anything. It was Hannah, who scolded him for bothering me.

"Haru, what did I tell you about disturbing our new classmate?" she said. "I'm Hannah, nice to meet you. Sorry for the disturbance."

"I was only trying to be friendly, ouch," Haru exclaimed as he endured the pain.

I realized that they were all friends with Lennard, and I was glad to see that he had made some friends since we last spoke. He used to be a grumpy, sweet introvert in elementary and high school.

As time ticked by, there was still no sign of Lennard. I asked Hannah if she knew where he might be.

"Uhmmm, excuse me, do you know where Lennard might be? I asked

"Owww, it's normal that Lennard is sometimes late because he's having a rough time waking up early," Hannah stated.

As I glanced at the clock, I realized that it was almost time for our class to start. My heart started racing with anticipation as I wondered how Lennard would react when he saw me again. I couldn't help but feel a little anxious, since our last encounter had been a bit awkward. But I was determined to make things right.

As I stood there, I suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching, and I turned to see Lennard rushing towards me. He appeared to be in a hurry, as if he had run as fast as he could to make it to class on time. As he got closer, I could see the sweat on his forehead and the look of determination in his eyes. I couldn't help but feel impressed by his dedication to our class. I smiled as he approached and greeted him warmly, hoping to put him at ease and start fresh.

"Good morning, Lennard," I muttered under my breath, trying to keep my voice calm and friendly. I felt hesitant to speak to him since I had hurt him in the past. I wished he knew how sorry I was, but I knew it was pointless to bring it up now.

Lennard replied with a simple "good morning," and the atmosphere between us felt tense and awkward. We avoided making eye contact, and I felt like a stranger to him. I wanted to explain my side of the story, but after disappearing for so many years, I didn't know if I had the right to ask for forgiveness.

Later that day, after class had ended, Lennard quickly left while I remained behind. I knew I had to make an effort to show him that I was truly sorry for what I had done.

As I stepped outside, the rain started to pour, and I opened my umbrella. I caught a glimpse of myself in a puddle and told myself that I would do anything to make things right with Lennard.

Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a young woman running towards a busy intersection. The pedestrian light was red, and a car was approaching her at a high speed. I knew I had to act fast to save her.

"Look out!" I shouted as I quickly rushed towards her to pull her to safety. I managed to keep her safe, but I bruised my right knee in the process. It hurt, but I checked on the woman, and she hugged me tightly.

"Thank you for saving me, Miss...?" she asked with a look of gratitude in her eyes.

"My name is Samantha. What's yours?" I replied with a smile.

"My name is Jasmine, and I'm 22 years old," she said, returning the smile.

I was surprised to learn that she was not a little girl, but a young adult. I realized that I had judged her based on her appearance, and felt guilty about it. As I tried to stand up, I winced in pain from my bruised knee, but I knew it was worth it to have saved her from harm.

"Are you free today, Samantha?" Jasmine asked, looking at me curiously.

We went to a nearby café to dry ourselves off from the rain. As we sat down, I overheard Jasmine talking to someone named Hannah on the phone.

"Alright, I'll attend class tomorrow. Yes, Hannah, I won't be absent anymore, I promise," she laughed and ended the call.

As we sipped our hot coffee, I asked Jasmine, sitting across from me, which university she attended. To my surprise, she told me we were classmates in the same section. She had been absent for a few days due to a family issue but seemed fine from her expression.

"Jasmine, can I ask you something?" I inquired.

"What is it, Samantha?" she replied.

"Do you know Lennard?" I asked Jasmine.

"Oh, Lennard is my friend, actually part of our circle. With Haru, Hannah, and Ryan, we became friends from the start when we were freshmen. However, I noticed that Lennard is mysterious and not very talkative. He's scary to approach, but I find him very attractive because he has the looks and intelligence, and he smells good. Why do you ask?" Jasmine said.

"It's a long story, Jasmine," I said, scratching my head.

Then, Jasmine's face was close to mine, full of curiosity. "Tell me, we have time," she smiled.

I began to tell her about my long history with Lennard, how we had known each other since elementary school, and how he had been grumpy, protective, sweet, and intelligent. He confessed his feelings to me while playing the piano at their home, after which I had feelings for him and waited for him to reveal it. He wasn't just any boy; he was a fine keeper.

Just as I was about to continue my story, Jasmine received an urgent phone call. She had to leave immediately for an emergency at home. We left the café together, relieved that the rain had stopped.

"We can continue our conversation tomorrow, Samantha. Goodbye," she hugged me and ran off.

I was surprised that we had the same personality as my younger self in high school.
