Chapter 8

Briella

"I can't believe Junior year is over!", I smiled.

It was finally summer and tomorrow I'd be going off to camp with Laila, London and Andrew.

"So you're going to be applying to colleges soon our little girl will be leaving us in a year!", Logan smiled.

"I'll put a mattress in your dorm and sleep there", Rory joked.

"I'll miss you mom and dad 8 weeks away seems long", I sobbed.

The next day

Mom and dad had drove me 3 hours to the camp they were crying so was I 8 weeks would be long.

"No parents finally!", I giggled.

Laila, London and I had been put in a cabin together we had snuck in alcohol.

Andrew would sneak into our cabin at night.

"Truth or dare?", Laila asked me.

"I pick Dare!", I smirked at Andrew.

"I dare you to kiss Andrew with tongue!", Laila giggled at us.

"Sure it's not as if we haven't slept together", I giggled.

We kissed and Laila and London giggled as me and Andrew didn't want to stop.

It was getting late so Andrew went back to his cabin. We all fell asleep quickly after.

It was now week 2 at camp it had been fun. Id send letters to my grandparents and parents. They always sent me back gifts.

"Let's have a party in our cabin!", London suggested.

"Yeah we should me you Laila and Andrew we still have lots of alcohol!", I giggled.

That night after everyone else fell asleep Andrew sneaked into our cabin as usual and we all drank a lot.

I woke up in the morning to find Andrew asleep next to me.

"Andrew!", I yelled hitting him.

"W-what!", He yawned.

"Get to your cabin before anyone wakes up!", I whispered.

He snuck out but got caught by a camp counsellor.

All our parents were called and they found the alcohol in our room.

We ended up going home early.

"Mom Dad I'm sorry", I said apologising.

"We know Ella it's fine hunny", Rory smiled.

Dad looked angry Mom was ok with it. I got grounded for the rest of the summer.

After summer was over it was officially senior year.

"We're finally seniors!", London smiled.

"Yeah this is our last first day of highschool!", I giggled.

Andrew met me in the hallway before our first class we decided to start dating at last. London had met a boy over the summer who just moved here Charlie.

"How are things with Charlie?", I teased her.

"Going great we kissed last weekend my first kiss it was amazing!", London Smiled.

"Wow your first kiss huh what next marriage?", I teased her laughing.

The first day back at school went by quick for some reason I didn't see Cassie.

I headed home to see Cassie with Mom and dad.

"Mom what's Cassie doing here?", I asked confused.

"Hunny sit down we have some news ", Rory replied upset.

It looked as if they had all been crying had something happened.

"Grandma Lorelai and Luke were driving to Grandma Emily's last night and a car swerved and hit them", Logan explained.

I felt tears forming in my eyes. Where they in hospital were they dead.

"A-are they ok?", I asked in tears.

"It's not looking good Hun Luke's ok but Lorelais in a coma Cassie is here for now", Logan explained.

I ran upto my room in tears. She was a second mom to me my grandma too. Thankfully Luke was ok.

I felt upset and needed to talk to someone who wasn't family.

I called James and he picked up straight away. It had been 7 months since we last saw or spoke to eachother.

*Ring ring*

James: Yes hello?

Ella: James it's me

James: Ella are you ok I heard about the accident

Ella: Could I come over I know it's been awhile

James: Sure

*End of call*

I snuck out and got in my car and drove to stars hollow.

"Hi Ella sweetie are you ok we heard about the crash", Babette asked me.

"Y-yeah I should go Babette", I smiled waving.

I walked to James's house. Dean his dad answered.

"Hi Ella are you here to see James?", Dean asked.

I nodded and he let me in I waved at Lindsay who was in the kitchen. I headed up to James's room.

"You ok?", He asked.

"No it's just it's reminding me of our crash and I can't loose her I lost my Grandad a few months ago too", I sobbed into his arms.

He hugged me tightly.

"James Amy's here!", Lindsay yelled.

"A-amy Millard?", I asked.

James nodded I decided to go I didn't know they were dating.

Any gave me a strange look as I left.

I drove to Andrews and spent the night at his since his parents weren't home. I decided to not tell him I went to see James.

"You doing ok?", Andrew hugged me.

"I don't know I'm worried!", I cried.

"Your grandma will be ok don't worry", Andrew smiled.

"Thank you", I hugged him.
