Jurassic World- She's part Raptor.

Chapter1

Okay so hello guys, this is my first fan fiction so it may not be that good. Thanks for reading!

Owen's POV

You know those children in your school who were obsessed with dinosaurs? Same here. I know them really well. Because I was one.
Ever since my mother took me to Jurassic World when I was ten, I've been hooked. I especially love the velociraptors. Everything about them is so deadly but they're stunning. Their perfect claws, deadly teeth, hunting abilities. It's perfect. Huh, I'm sounding like a love struck teen. Bye.

Kylie's POV

I wake up, my eyes open in terror. What? An unfamiliar white ceiling looms overhead.
"I've got the Velociraptor DNA. Pretty soon we'll have our first human-dinosaur. What a massive honour. " snorts an unknown man sarcastically.
"If you worked as much as you talked, then we might be on our fifteith one," replies an equally sarcastic voice, this time a woman. I don't like the sound of this. First human-dinosaur? Suddenly darkness over takes me. Human Dino.....

I see red. It's the inside of an egg. Tap, tap, tap. Where's that noise coming from? I look around me and realize that it's coming from me. When there is a sizable hole, I clamber out of the shell, landing on a white table. Why is everything white? Slowly but surely a giant hand approaches me. What's happening to me? My eyes widen as realisation takes place. First human dino.... Me. I am a Raptor.

Owen's POV.
I gently reach out to the newly hatched Raptor, stroking its small head. She makes a clicking noise, fear filled in the pitiful sound. But there's also something other than fear. A sort of fire. I know what I'm going to call the Raptor. Phoenix.

Kylie's POV.

A deep low voice, "Phoenix" it says. The hand reaches over to pick me up and I decide to go with it. He brings me to eye level, which for me is a long way down. I'm glad I was never afraid of height. It occurs to me that by Phoenix he means that that's my name. I gladly accept it. I need a new change, as this is not me.

As I look down on the table, I see that the other eggs have also hatched.
"My name's Owen," says the voice again, addressing just me. Owen has brown hair,and he's slightly... Not well put together, is the only phrase I can think of. He's tall, and I'm sure that's not just because I'm about 10cm tall. He's also vaguely attractive, but I've never really judged people by their appearance. He's quite scruffy I observe, but it's a homely sort of scruffy. I immediately know I like him. A deep growl escapes from my throat towards the other Raptors that have emerged from their shells behind me. There's 4 in total, excluding me. I must prove my dominance over them. I snuggle into Owen's hand. I'm going to worry about myself later. For now, I just want to be safe.
