The pair tore through the Mall, not daring to look back. They bursted into the Air and Space museum, Percy remembering how hesitant Thorn had been to enter it.

The main part of the museum was one huge room with rockets and airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Three levels of balconies curled around, so you could look at the exhibits from all different heights.

The place wasn't crowded, just a few families and a couple of tour groups of kids, probably doing one of those holiday school trips. Percy wanted to scream at them to get out of there, but that would only get him arrested.

They had to find Thalia, Grover, and the Hunters. Any minute, the skeleton dudes were going to invade the museum, and Percy didn't think they would settle for an audio tour.

As they received many scowls for disrupting the visitors' peace, Percy remembered how his heart had skipped a beat when Menodora had walked into the room with the dragon teeth. He could've cried of both joy and worry. Percy thought she was going to get herself killed.

The General and monsters likely didn't care enough to notice the small differences between the original guard and Menodora, but Percy did. The guard was a bit smaller than Menodora, and Menodora's hair was curlier than the guard's. The guard didn't look anything like Menodora either.

Percy's thoughts were disrupted by the sudden collision of his body against another.

He had ran into Thalia. Literally.

Menodora had followed like a domino, falling on top of Percy and Thalia

Before Percy could regain his balance, Bianca had her arrow pointed at my chest, and Zoë at Mendora's.

When Zoë realised who they were, her arrow shifted from Menodora's chest to Percy's. "You! How dare you show thy face here?"

"Percy! Thank goodness!" Grover exclaimed happily.

Zoë glared at him and he blushed. "I mean—golly! How dare you show thy face here?"

"Luke," Percy said with heavy breaths. "He's here."

Luke's betrayal had turned Percy's brain into a slushie of all kinds of emotions, influencing his every decision, and seeing Luke in that room was like being forced to drink it all.

The anger in Thalia's eyes immediately melted. She put her hand on her silver bracelet. "Where is he?"

Percy told them about the Natural Museum, Dr. Thorn, Luke, and the General. He decided not to tell anyone about Menodora killing innocent mortals—he wanted to ask her himself about that.
