Chapter 2 Diaylis begins

" After the Ronney family, left the hospital we fallowing our journey along with continuing while Maddie being admitted right now in the icu,right now as they reach inside the unit. Maddie's is the first. Room as you walk in and private because the doctors want her to be separate from other, patients while being her condition.And not risking infection so they want kept her alone so as Maddie was looking tiny in the hospital bed hooked up many machines and recovering from a minor, surgery. After the doctors and surgeons inserted, central venous catheter inserted into internal jaguar, but it's located in near. Her collarbone which inserted in her main vain in her neck they, that they want start Maddie on 24 hour dialysis right away because her life can, be at stake so we watch closely as the nurse. Carefully begin tend to the patient she felt bad for poor girl and couldn't even even imagine what she is going through, believe that she doesn't deserve it as she was busy working on the patient and knowing this the girls,very first dialysis treatment.And has to be careful cause her life is on the line she can die without being on dialysis so worked slowly, extra hard it took a bit but as twenty minutes. Went by everything was work great that her first dialysis was a success without complications, so as the nurse breathe of relief. And finished punching the numbers in the dialysis machine.She doubled check everything lastly she give her heparin, which medication that prevent blood clots. So the process of  dialysis goes well a lot with putting, her in  pain drug so the young girl is comfortable along being on other medications. So as the nurse was finished tending to the patient she, was about to leave but stoped in her tracks by doctor James Richard's. Knowing she probably missed a step, so as she step back a second. And was about ask the girls kidney doctor

" Doctor James did, I miss anything asked the female and believe to be one of Maddie's nurses that is assigned. To her

" Um I believe you covered it, Megan she should be. Ok for now we just have to wait for 24 hours till she fully dialyzed let's keep and I owe her first round of dialysis, wait-and-see how it goes we're hoping, there's no complications and it goes smoothly for her poor girl, she's been for so much for the past five hours. And is very sick as for now we don't want Maddie, to wake up just yet she needs. Time to heal and rest so for now she is in a coma we don't want rush it we will give it to five days that's, if she improves right her condition is still unstable meaning nothing has changed. Right now we leave her to decide but will check up on her, every hour to see how she's doing. So basically, I'm saying if she decides to wake up too soon, recovery won't be made.making sure . You move her around by giving her physical therapy recently while on your, rounds.Making she moved around so not being the same spot, for long periods of time.

" But doctor she is, hooked up to dialysis machine. Can I still do so I don't disconnect any machines, wires or tubing?, Do you want me to start now or when do after, her first round of dialysis?.

" Since she's on dialysis, for the next 24 hours yeah I will wait. Till tomorrow evening but mabey try to do gently stretch so, she is moved around and not being in same. Spot said the male doctor as the the nurse was carefully while being gently while moving? the young, girl and start her with five minute. Stretch so she not weak when they prediction as she is waking up. So in the middle of working the doctor add in that she will be staying in hospital for twelve days,And will monitored throughout her recovery. As the doctor was working on her machine, the last stretch caused Maddie to a little pain began to cry inside her coma so the nurse, stopped right away. While began adjust her pain medication while holding her hand by gently squeezing it.As she gently soothed the young girl, while trying to calm her down.and rubbed her fingers

" shush it's ok Maddie, I know it hurts but the pain medicine is. Going kick in soon and going help you as she was talking to unconscious teenage girl and began wipe. Tears off her face my name is Megan and I'm one of the nurses that is assigned to you your other nurse is Paige, she will come in latter and she very. Nice I am your afternoon nurse she comes in around seven pm that she takes over, for me I'm three to seven pm
And. She add Paige seven to three pm I'm sorry you got very sick and your both your kidneys have failed renal failure, is the worst but you look like a strong girl. And can pull through this said the nurse doctor do know why reason, she's in pain.

" it's probably because, her kidneys are no longer functioning. So since they both stopped working the damaged from the results cat scan meaning the falied kidneys are dying so that's why it's the last resort is to put her on dialysis to, keep her alive so pain be coming. From that maybe said the doctor.

" Well , when I was doing exercise on her towards the end of it it. She started feeling pain but I doing too hard nurse said.

" it could be that, you were doing a gently, but maybe I would advised not doing it right now cause. She has pain just do it at a better approach or just be lightly her for now anyway she needs to rest why don't take a brake Paige should here soon. I know are starting get close to her and feel bad but don't get to attached, she will recover soon said, Doctor James Richard's

" Ok thank you so much, Doctor James said the female nurse. And with that the evening nurse came as Megan let.
