Fortress Over Hell

A/N: Before we move on to the next chapter, I wanted to share some important details about this story to avoid any confusion. Let's get started!

1. This book will not strictly follow the original plot. Some elements will remain if they are important, but the sudden involvement of Team Fortress 2 mercenaries will make the story quite different, sometimes goofy, and occasionally nonsensical.

2. I think only two or three of the mercenaries might have love interests, but it's not confirmed yet. It will take time to find suitable characters for them. The rest will not have love interests; they will become an adoptive family. Pyro might be an exception, but who knows what characters will be suitable to be his father figure in the future.

4. I have some plans for the Hazbin Hotel and I.M.P Headquarters in the future. I'm not sure if it will be a good or bad idea, but I'll do my best to make it work.

5. Some mechanics will be added to this story. TF2 will only have the killbind mechanic, but there's a twist behind the killbind. There will be a bit of lore added in future chapters. SFM and Gmod will be added for fun, goofy storytelling, and some weird stuff happening, especially if you are familiar with Gmod.

6. Lastly, some characters will stay the same, but many will undergo personality changes when it comes to TF2 characters.

That's all for now. I hope you guys enjoy this story because there aren't many like it yet. If this book doesn't get much attention, I won't abandon it. I'll continue until this story is done, and I will do my best to write it decently.
