Large amounts of banging and shouting woke Amelia up from her sleep. She figured it was Angel talking with Valentino on his phone. Another set of crashes got her standing up. She grabbed her phone and ran down to the area where she heard the fight. There, she saw Angel and Pentious at each other's necks.
"What's going on?" Charlie asked as her and Vaggie walked up to the scene.
"This little bitch is a traitor!" Angel slurred, pulling Pentious by his arm.
"Preposterous! I would never betray you. You... are my best friends!" He then went over to hug all the girls.
Amelia stepped out of the way before he could hug her. She was not touching... that.
"Then explain this!" Angel exclaimed and lifted a book from one of the shelves in the room to reveal a camera. It was one of the V's.
Sir Pentious slithers to a nearby door and turns on his wrist watch.
"Ah! Ah! Abort! Abort! S.O.S! Agent Pentious in need of immediate evacuation!" Pentious yelled.
Vox comes to life on the small screen. He looks around and noticed Pentious.
"Pentious? Wait... you were caught?!?" He started laughing at the snake's failure. "It hasn't even been, a day!"
"Please!" Pentious said. "You've got to get me out of here!"
" I can't believe we thought you could handle even something this simple!" Vox laughed. Suddenly, his expression turned sour. "Do us a favour, if they don't kill you, go ahead and do it yourself! You 𝗺⃥𝘪̸𝘀⃥𝘦̸𝗿⃥𝘢̸𝗯⃥𝘭̸𝗲⃥ 𝗳⃥𝘢̸𝗶⃥𝘭̸𝘂⃥𝘳̸𝗲⃥!" And like that, the call ended.
Amelia wasn't going to lie, she felt bad. She knew what it was like to fail at something and be told to never do it again. She knew what failure was. She knew the down side of it. But she also knew every action had a consequence, and every protagonist has their antagonist.
"Just make it quick, I guess." Pentious said. He laid on the ground and curled up in a ball. "Not that I deserve it."
Vaggie held her spear, ready to kill him. "Gladly." She said.
"Wait!" Charlie said, stopping Vaggie. "Pentious?" She asked.
He looked up at her through teary eyes.

Pentious joined her song, finding it nice to sing along.
♫ Who could forgive a dirtbag like me. I don't deserve your amnesty. ♫

Angel, Vaggie, and Amelia sang.
♫ Shoot him and spill his blood? ♫
"That's an option you could choose." Charlie said.
♫ works for us ♫
The three sang.
♫ But who hasn't been in his shoes? It starts with sorry. ♫
♫ sorry ♫
♫ Dig down deeper and say one sincere sorry. ♫
♫ I'm so sorry. ♫
♫ And your journey's under way. ♫
Charlie and Pentious intertwined hands and started singing together.
♫ It'll take time to cover your/my vast multitude of sins. But sorry is where it begins. It starts with sorry. ♫
As the song ended, Amelia noticed a small cyclops standing in the doorway.
"I hated that song!" Niffty yelled. "Why are you so lame?! Not a bad boy." She told Pentious and stepped on his tail.
Charlie happily sighed.
"Good first day." She said and took Vaggie by the waist to go to their bedroom.
Angel, Pentious, and Niffty follow after them. Amelia stayed behind and picked up the watch to throw it away. She looked at it and pressed a button. The same demon from before came on the screen.
"What?!" He asked.
He then paused and stared at the woman. She stared back at him, not knowing what his deal was. She went to pull her hood more over her eyes until she realized... she didn't put her hood on. She's a normal human being speaking to an overlord.
Amelia was about to throw the watch to the ground. Suddenly, a shadow grabbed it and brought it to his face.
"You'll have to try harder than that next time, ol' pal!" Alastor said.
Alastor crushed the watch in his hand, Amelia watching him do so with curiosity.
"An enemy of mine." Alastor said to her. "Nothing to worry about, dear." He then placed his hand against her back, leading her back to her room.
