Today's Christmas Eve, and I'm on my way to samaj's house to spend the day with him and Leyah. We wanted to spend the holiday with each other but he said he was going over to his baby momma house so Leyah could be with both of her parents on christmas and see her grandparents as well. And I know my mom would whoop my ass if I wasn't there so Christmas eve it is.

I pulled up to the apartment complex and then hopped out of my car and headed to the trunk to get their gifts out of it, it was in a big bag so I don't have them all in my hand individually.

I wasn't finna show up to my man's house on Christmas with on gifts... what kinda nigga would that make me?

After I got all of the gifts out of the car, I headed to the building, and took the elevator up to Dani's floor.

I had got him a gift too, I was in a giving mood while Christmas shopping so I picked him up a little something as well.

When I reached his door, I knocked waiting for him to answer.

After a little while he finally answered the door.

"Who is it?" I heard him yell on the other side of the door.

"Syris!" I replied back, not even a second later I heard the door being unlocked and opened.

"Hey, you coming in?" He asked. I nodded my head and walked into apartment.

"So what you doing here on a holiday?" He asked walking behind me, as I walked into his living room.

"I uh- brought you a Christmas gift" I said as I grabbed his gift out of the bag, I'm low key nervous I never really had friends to buy gifts for so I hope he likes it.

"Awll, thank you" he said he took the gift and hugged me making me hug him back.

"You don't even know what it is yet," I told him, as we let go of each other

"But I'm still grateful that you thought about me enough to get me something...I got you something too, wait here" he said before sitting his gift down and running to his room.

Not long after he ran out of his room with a present in his hands.

"This is for you- well kinda, it's for you and Samaj" he said as he handed it to me, and giving me a wink.

"Thank you, but you ain't have to get me nothing" I told him

"Boy shut up, now record me opening my gift" he told me as he handed me his phone, making me chuckle.

As I pressed record, he ripped all the wrapping paper off the gift with a huge smile on his face.

After taking the paper off he opened the box, and his eyes went wide.

I got him a pair of sunglasses with his name engraved into one of the arms.

"Sy, these are so cuteness, thank you" he said hugging me again

"You're welcome" I'm glad he likes them it took me awhile to figure out something to get him so I'm glad he's happy.

He let go of me and then put them on,

"Ooo, I just know these make me look sexy- well more than I already am of course" He said making me chuckle, he ain't lying though

"You want me to open mine right now?" i asked him

"Nah I want you to open it with yo man, you finna head up there right now?"

"Yeah, im gon spend the day with him" i told

"Oh alright, period, well I'm bout to start on these cookies I promised my mom id make for tonight"

""Alright, ill see you later then and thank you for the gift" I told him
