As I stepped out of the car that Kaden has sent for me and onto the bustling streets of Manhattan, my heart fluttered with anticipation. Today was the grand opening of the bakery nestled within the luxurious confines of the hotel owned by none other than Kaden. And as I made my way towards the grand entrance, my mind buzzed with excitement, eager to embark on this new chapter of my life.

The dress that Kaden bought for me yesterday followed my movements graciously. I exhaled in relief as I stepped through the big glass doors, greeted by the much awaited warmth. It was almost Christmas and the freezing cold of New York never failed to remind me.

The hotel loomed before me, a magnificent structure of gleaming glass and polished marble. Its towering facade exuded an air of sophistication and elegance, a testament to Kaden's personality and uncompromising standards.

I caught a glimpse of the bakery, decorated with signs for its opening. Although the interior did look a little sheer and simple, but I could get to that later. I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as I approached the entrance to the ball room, knowing that I would soon be a part of this prestigious establishment.

As I stepped further, I was greeted by the opulent surroundings of the hotel lobby. Crystal chandeliers cast a soft, golden glow over the marble floors, while plush velvet armchairs beckoned invitingly from every corner. The air was filled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pastries, a promise of the delights that awaited me inside the bakery.

With a sense of purpose, I made my way through the lobby towards the ballroom where the opening event was being held. The doors swung open before me, revealing a sight that took my breath away. The ballroom was a vision of splendor, its grandeur rivaling that of a fairy tale palace. From the intricately carved ceiling to the sparkling crystal chandeliers, every detail had been meticulously crafted to perfection.

I couldn't help but marvel at the sight before me, my eyes wide with wonder. This was the world that Kaden ruled. The world of wealth and privilege, where dreams were turned into reality with the wave of a hand. And as I stood there, surrounded by the dazzling interior of the ballroom, I felt a sense of awe wash over me. The gold accents of the doors and walls twinkled in the light.

But amidst the grandeur and glamour, there was one thing missing. Kaden himself. I scanned the room anxiously, my heart skipping a beat when I caught sight of him standing near the entrance, his gaze fixed on me with a look of undeniable intensity. It was as if time stood still as our eyes met, the air between us charged with unspoken emotion. We hadn't yet spoken about yesterday's events.

For a moment, I hesitated, unsure of what to do. But then, as if drawn by some invisible force, I found myself moving towards him, my steps guided by a sense of inevitability. And as I reached his side, I felt a surge of warmth spread through me at the sight of his familiar scowl.

"Hey there, Dimples," he greeted me gruffly, his tone softened by a hint of warmth.

"Hey yourself," I replied, unable to suppress the smile that tugged at the corners of my lips.

And in that moment, as we stood there amidst the splendor of the ballroom, it was as if time stopped and the world zeroed on us two.

A familiar sound of heels clicking against the polished marble floor interrupted our exchange. I turned to see Madelin approaching us, her graceful demeanor and impeccable style drawing admiring glances from those around her. Typical fashion major.

"Vivian, darling, there you are!" Madelin exclaimed, her voice carrying across the room with effortless elegance. "I've been looking everywhere for you."
