Alexis's pov

How could I be so careless? I broke the glass vase which matt gifted me on our shopping earlier.

I felt bad, what if they scold me and beat me for it like Micheal once did?

I was slightly trembling as I continuously apologized, hoping they would forgive me.

Alec walked closer to me which made me flinch as he pulled in to a hug. As he pressed his body against mine, I couldn't help but feel a sharp pain.

I hesitated but hugged him back. Enzo called for a maid to clean up the mess I made.

I felt so guilty. Alec sat beside me as I watched the maid clean up.

Enzo looked at me worried.

"Are you okay?" Enzo spoke up and I just nodded,

"You sure?" Alec asked leaning closer to me as he sat beside me

"Sorry, I was just trying to get up and walk to the bathroom but I kind of lost my balance and I tried to hold onto something and then I held onto the vase but because of me leaning my body weight in it, it fell. Im- really sorry" I mumbled, worried and over thinking while yapping.

Alec and Enzo just looked at me worried,

"You don't have to apologise mio amore" Alec sighed softly, hugging me from side.

Enzo looked at me and spoke up, "it dosent matter how or why it happened. What matters is that you are alright", Alec nodded in agreement.

I couldn't help but wonder if they will punish me for this.. will they lock me in this room? Maybe starve me? Or what if they throw me onto the streets? I won't be able to contact jack. What if logan or father get furious?

I gulped softly, Alec ran his hand through my hair and then softly tied them down as he realised how much I was sweating.

I sniffled as both of them tried to comfort me.

Matt walked into the room and looked at us worried and confused, "it's time for dinner.. everything alright?" He asked,

"Yep, we'll be right there" Alec replied and turned to Enzo,

"Will you stay for dinner? Alec asked Enzo,

"Uh, no. I should get going" he smiled softly as he attempted to leave, Alec turned to matt.

"Ask them to set and extra plate for Enzo" Alec spoke before he left.

Enzo walked back in and sighed, Alec just smiled at him as he caressed my back and hair.

"It's alright, you don't have to worry about it. It's just a vase" Alec smiled, assuring me as he stood up and helped me get up.

We then walked outside the room and down the stairs. Enzo walked behind us as we entered the dinning room. It was just us and matt.

"Logan and Harry will be here in like 5 minutes" matt smiled as he sat down.

Matt, Alec and Enzo sat infront of me while I sat in my usual spot.

"So, what happened? Everything okay?" Matt asked worried, he probably noticed the tense atmosphere up there.

My gaze lowered, worried and guilty. I gulped softly, trembling but it wasn't visible to them.

"Nothing, alexis just made a small mistake and it's fine." Alec smiled, but I still felt bad.

"Don't worry about it" Enzo chimed in,
