Klaus's face paled as Cassandra's words struck a nerve. He glared at her with rage, struggling to maintain his composure. "You're a vindictive bitch, aren't you?" he spat, venom dripping from his voice.

Cassandra merely laughed in response, reveling in Klaus's loss of control. "Aww, look who finally learned to pronounce my name right," she mocked him, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "Don't start shit you can't finish," she warned, her voice taking on a dangerous edge.

Cassandra then turned her attention to the reason they were all gathered there. "Now, kindly explain why I had to waste my precious time attending this nauseating dinner," she demanded. "I know it wasn't Finn's idea." Her patience had worn thin, and it was clear that she was officially done playing games with the Mikaelson family.

Cassandra couldn't help but laugh at Elijah's proposition. "A thousand years on this planet, and you still have so much to learn," she mused, her amusement evident. "Alliances only work when both sides have something the other wants. As it stands, you don't have anything of value that I care about or desire. So, dearest Elijah, kindly tell me what you have to offer me."

Her voice dripped with condescension as she continued, "I have more power than I care to admit, knowledge that I'm still retaining, and as I said to your brother, I'm a queen with an army, while he's a tyrant that everyone wants to kill

Her voice dripped with condescension as she continued, "I have more power than I care to admit, knowledge that I'm still retaining, and as I said to your brother, I'm a queen with an army, while he's a tyrant that everyone wants to kill."

Elijah's jaw clenched as he absorbed Cassandra's words, struggling to find a way to convince her of the potential benefits of an alliance. Meanwhile, Klaus seethed silently.

Klaus's anger continued to simmer beneath the surface, threatening to boil over. He hadn't felt this powerless since his days as a human, and it was a feeling he despised. In Cassandra's presence, he was reduced to a mere plaything, and the look in her eyes made it clear that she knew it.

He could see the amusement and disdain in her gaze, as if he were nothing more than a toy for her to toy with and discard at her whim. It was a bitter pill to swallow for someone like Klaus, who was used to being in control and feared by all.

The tension in the room was thick, and Klaus could feel the eyes of his siblings on him, waiting to see how he would react to this humiliating situation. But deep down, he knew that he was at a disadvantage, and any rash move on his part could have dire consequences.

I was just about to leave when Elijah's voice rang out, stopping me in my tracks. "Our reputation," he declared, prompting me to turn and face him.

"Oh, care to elaborate?" I asked, my tone challenging as i raised an eyebrow at the elder Mikaelson brother.

Elijah stood up, straightening his suit as he prepared to make his case. "It's been bothering me since you awakened your chaos powers. The entire supernatural world felt your presence, yet none of them have been able to find you. This leads me to believe that you're not quite ready to rule and reveal yourself just yet."

I rolled my eyes, unimpressed with his deduction. "Yes, and what of it?" she asked, my impatience growing.

Undeterred, Elijah continued, offering a proposition that made my jaw drop. "Let us be your shield. The entire supernatural community believes my family is the oldest and most powerful. Use us."

I  couldn't believe what i was hearing. "Let me get this straight," she began, incredulity clear in her voice. "You're willing to be my bitch?"

Cassandra's declaration was met with laughter from Kol, Finn, Damon, Enzo, Stefan, and Caroline, who clearly found the situation amusing. Cassandra shot them a glare, silencing them before turning her attention back to Elijah.

"Not how I would have put it, but yes," Elijah confirmed, his expression serious.

I remained skeptical. "And what do you get out of this deal?" I asked, my tone wary. "Last I checked, a Mikaelson doesn't make deals unless there's something in it for them."

Elijah's lips tightened as he replied, "Your favor, as I said. Alliances. You're not someone I want as an enemy."

I considered his words for a moment before finally relenting. "Fine, but I want a blood vow," i demanded. "Since you have a tendency to break that precious word of yours."

Without another word, a blood seal appeared between them, and they spoke the words to seal their pact. As the final syllables hung in the air, Cassandra and Elijah locked eyes, both acutely aware of the implications of the deal they had just struck.

As the pact was completed, Cassandra, Enzo, and Elijah made their way to Rebekah's room, which was filled with the overwhelming stench of rotten flesh. Rebekah, her body deteriorating from the Protector curse, glared at Cassandra as they entered.

"Come to see me rot?" Rebekah's voice was hoarse, her eyes burning with anger and pain.

I smirked, a glint of satisfaction in her eyes. "Nothing would make me happier than watching you draw your last breath, but I have a deal with your brother, so that's a bummer," i said, my disappointment evident.

Pulling out a knife, i sliced her hand, allowing a trickle of blood to seep from the wound. The scent of my powerful, intoxicating blood traveled through the mansion, causing every vampire's fangs to elongate in hunger. Even Elijah, who prided himself on his self-control, found himself battling the urge to consume her.

I seemed unaffected by their reactions as I offered a single drop into her mouth.

The tension in the room was palpable as everyone watched Rebekah struggle against her pride and her desperation for a cure. Finally, with a resigned sigh, she swallowed the drop of blood.

As Rebekah swallowed the blood that Cassandra offered, a remarkable change began to take place. The cursed venom, which had been slowly ravaging her body, retreated, and life seemed to return to her once more. She stared down at her hands in disbelief, flexing her fingers as if to ensure that they were truly hers again.

I watched this transformation with a cool detachment, seemingly unimpressed by her own role in it. "It looks like my work here is done," i said casually, turning away from Rebekah and the other vampires.

"Enzo, let's go," i called out, indicating that it was time for them to take their leave. As Rebekah's gaze fell upon Enzo, the man who had helped her during her darkest moments, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude, despite the tension that still lingered in the room.

In the aftermath of Cassandra's intervention, the Mikaelson siblings found themselves at a crossroads. While they were relieved that Rebekah had been cured, they were also acutely aware that they had entered into a dangerous alliance with Cassandra, one that could have far-reaching consequences for them all.
