Jade Maclean, a college student with a passion for art and history, had always been focused on her studies and building a secure future. Her life was a carefully crafted plan, with each day accounted for and each goal meticulously worked towards. But everything changed when she met Sean Stone, a wealthy businessman with a charismatic presence, at a charity gala in Madrid.

The night was a blur of champagne toasts, auctions, and laughter, but Jade's attention was captivated by Sean's piercing blue eyes and chiseled features. They exchanged a few words, and before she knew it, they were lost in conversation, discussing art, politics, and life. The connection was palpable, and Jade felt like she'd known Sean for years.

As the night wore on, Sean revealed his desire to show Jade the beauty of Spain, and they embarked on a romantic journey across the country. They strolled through Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, hand in hand, taking in the intricate architecture and rich history. They watched flamenco dancers in Seville, their bodies swaying to the rhythm, and shared a romantic dinner in Granada, overlooking the Alhambra's majestic gardens.

Sean's intensity and possessiveness initially thrilled Jade, but as their relationship deepened, she began to feel trapped and suffocated. He was controlling, dictating what she wore, who she saw, and what she did. Despite her reservations, she couldn't resist Sean's charm and the luxurious lifestyle he offered.

She tried to brush off her concerns, thinking that marriage would bring a sense of security and stability, but the feeling of unease lingered.

Their wedding day arrived, and Jade put on a brave face, trying to convince herself that she was making the right choice. The ceremony was a blur, and as they exchanged their vows, Jade felt a sense of detachment, as if she was watching herself from outside her body. Sean's kiss was possessive, and Jade felt a shiver run down her spine.

As they began their life together, Jade struggled to find her place in Sean's world. He was used to getting what he wanted, when he wanted it, and Jade felt like she was losing her identity. She tried to talk to him about her feelings, but he dismissed her concerns, telling her she was being paranoid and ungrateful.

One night, as they lay in bed, Sean's phone rang, and he answered, his voice low and mysterious. Jade couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, wondering who was on the other end of the line. As she listened to his conversation, she realized that Sean was hiding something from her, and her doubts and fears came flooding back.
