Chapter 14: Relocation

Jade's Point of View:

The police arrived at our doorstep, their sirens blaring and their lights flashing. Sean and I exchanged a nervous glance, knowing that Zeke's obsession had gone too far.

"Señora Jade, we need to take you to a safe place," one of the officers said, his voice firm but gentle. "You and your babies are in danger."

I nodded, knowing that I had to trust them. Sean took my hand, and together we followed the officers out of our apartment and into a waiting car.

As we drove through the streets of Madrid, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. We were finally taking action, finally taking control of our lives.

But as we arrived at the airport, I realized that we were leaving Spain behind. Sean had made arrangements for us to relocate to New York, to start a new life free from Zeke's grasp.

Sean's Point of View:

I watched as Jade settled into her seat on the plane, her eyes fixed on the window as we took off into the sky. I knew she was scared, but I also knew she was strong. She had to be, for our babies' sake.

As we flew over the Atlantic, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and protection. I had finally taken charge, finally taken steps to keep my family safe.

The police had been involved, and they had helped us get out of Spain undetected. Zeke would never find us in New York, never be able to harm us again.

As we landed at JFK Airport, I took Jade's hand, and together we made our way through customs and immigration. We were finally in our new home, finally free from Zeke's obsession.

Zeke's Point of View:

I watched as Jade and Sean disappeared into the crowd at the airport, my heart burning with anger and frustration. They thought they could outsmart me, outmaneuver me. But I was always one step ahead.

I pulled out my phone, my fingers dialing a number I knew by heart. "They're in New York," I said, my voice low and menacing. "Find them. Bring them back to me."

And with that, I hung up the phone, my eyes fixed on the city skyline. Jade and Sean thought they had escaped me, but I would always find them. I would always make them mine.
