Chapter 15: WANDA VS OCHACO

The scene starts with the boys meeting up with the gang for the next match.

Arcturus: Hey, guys. Are we late?

Iida: Just in time, actually.

Tsuyu: Ribbit. This might be an interesting matchup.

Jiro: I know. I'm not really sure who'll win this.

Izuku and Arc take their seats as they see the girls walking to the stage.

Arcturus's Thoughts: Whoever wins this, it'll be a fight to remember.

Present Michelle: The eight and final match in the first round of matches. She's got skill and charm, complete with a power that makes her like a witch. From the hero course, Wanda Maximoff! Versus, a girl that can send anyone flying with just a touch, also from Class 1-A, Ochaco Uraraka!

Wanda: Don't hold back on me for this fight.

Ochaco: I was gonna say the same thing.

Present Mic: Let the eight match BEGIN!

Ochaco starts running to make the first strike.

Ochaco: Giving up isn't an option for me!

Izuku: Alright, look at her go! All she has to do is touch her one time and it'll be over.

Iida: But it won't be easy. You know Wanda's not gonna let her get too close to her.

Arcturus: Which is why she won't dodge. She'll focus on counter attacking.

Wanda's right hand begins to charge up in red energy. Ochaco sees this and planned to dodge, but Wanda's attack was too big and it hits her along with a portion of the ground.

Ochaco's Thoughts: Damnit! I knew it was coming and I still couldn't dodge it.

The force of the blast creates a dust cloud around Wanda as she was back in position.

Wanda: This won't be as simple as you think.

Something moves in the cloud, and Wanda attacks it.

Wanda: Try harder!

She strikes it, but saw it was Ochaco's jacket.

Wanda: (gasps)

In the dust, Ochaco (now in her tank top) jumps out and readies to touch Wanda.

Ochaco's Thoughts: This is my chance, I can make her float!

She was super close to touching her, but Wanda turns around fast enough to send an energy wave at her, sending her back while destroying more of the ground.

Sero: Look at that reaction time.

Kaminari: Seriously, the girl's insane. You can't get the drop on her. And since Uraraka can't use her quirk unless she touches her, her lighting-fast reflexes put her at a huge disadvantage!

For what felt like forever, it became a routine where Ochaco would get close, Wanda pushes her back, Ochaco gets up to try again, and Wanda counters again. The whole time this happened, the class couldn't help but feel on edge as Wanda was basically extending this match.

Present Mic: Looks like she's not resting between attacks despite being thrown back. The poor girl.

Izuku: Uraraka...

All Might: Cynthia, young Maximoff's never like this. What's she trying to accomplish?

Cynthia: She's acknowledging Uraraka's strength. And there's more going on than they realize.
