Chapter 58: MORE OF A HERO (End of S5)

The scene shows the entirety of Class 1-A reunited and ready for school again. The work studies had taken up the entirety of winter break, and the third-term was beginning, with only 3 months left of their first year.

Iida: (smiles) My classmates! A Happy New Year to you all!

Momo: (smiles, bows) Yes, Happy New Year, everyone.

Iida: Today's class will consist of a practical briefing. We'll each share our accomplishments, challenges, etc cetera from over the winter break. (Anime glasses) So, comrades, it's time to suit up... and head over to Ground Alpha!

Aizawa: (enters) Quiet! Time to get started—

He clams down when seeing the kids already getting their suitcases and heading out for training.

Mina: Happy New Year, Mr. Aizawa!

They all soon headed to the locker rooms where they were gearing up. While the guys were changing, Arc and Izuku shared their progress on Blackwhip and Diamond.

Kirishima: Whoa! You mean you both mastered those new powers?

Kirishima: For real?! Dang, that was quick!

Arcturus: I'm still a bit slow when using Diamond, but I've gotten it to where I can at least still move at a normal pace without feeling like I'm carrying 2 tons of rock on my body.

Mineta: They're pretty fricken cool, if you ask me.

Kirishima: That's what happens when you learn faster if your work study's with number one! Like you grow at a higher rate, huh?

Izuku: But I still can't control it for more at the moment, and its uses are pretty limited. But it's strong!

Arcturus: And I've gotten a few tricks already, including shooting out shards from my hands, and even making small waves like Todoroki with his ice. Once I get better, I'll start more experiments with Limitless!

On cue with that quirk, Arc stops one of the spiked sides of Katsuki's mask coming towards his head.

Arcturus: (not even looking up) Nice try, Bomb Bitch.

Kirishima: Bakugo! What's your problem?!

Katsuki: Stupid!

Sato: Oh man! That could've made his grey matter leak out!

Izuku: Kacchan!

Robbie: (sighs) Getting too old for this shit.

After getting fully dressed in their costumes, they headed out to the training ground. There, they're greeted by All Might with a cotton candy machine.

All Might: I am here! The symbol of sweets!

However, they just keep walking by him.

All Might: Uh, guys! I put "all my might" into this one gag, and you're completely ignoring it.

Mineta: Are you okay, All Might?

All Might: I am fine! And, I am here! The symbol of sweets! Get it! Cotton candy—

He's pulled back by Cynthia looking a bit annoyed.

Cynthia: They get it. Calm down.
