Life is an ocean; you were the captain–
lost in the middle, preyed by the trenches.
Lured by the sirens, toyed by the waves.
Long for an island hidden amidst the haze.
The world is an open sea to explore
and you found yourselves in between shores;
the wreck of your past anchors you down,
hope the waves will be there - to make you safe and sound.
If you find yourself lost in night everlasting,
the stars bring you nowhere and nothing.
My love is your lighthouse, the winds, and the tides–
near and far, always look for the light.
