After saying that he would take me, I didn't answer him anything. I just followed him out of the club.

When I got to the car I hesitated a little, but as soon as he looked at me as if he were scolding me I quickly opened the door and sat down quickly.

He fastened his seatbelt before stepping on the accelerator making the car move down the road.

Shortly after we were driving on the highway, the fancy phone of the person next to me rang.

"What's happening?" ...

he asked bluntly. I don't know who s
he was talking to, but his expression didn't seem like someone he liked.

He talked to the person for a while. Apparently, the person on the other end of the line was quite talkative, while on the contrary, my boss only responded occasionally and in a cold tone.

After the conversation was over he turned on the turn signal, parked the car on the side of the highway and turned around to tell me in a voice so cold that it made me feel really worried.

"Get out."

"Huh?" ...

I wasn't sure if I heard wrong. Because well, we're on the highway. Where does he think he is leaving me speachless?

"I told you to get out of the car"

he said harshly. His eyes were so fierce that I was startled.

He was still sitting there not understanding what had happened. He opened the door and got out of the car, heading towards the one on the side where I was sitting. Then he leaned over and unbuckled my seat belt.

"Get out" ...

he looked at me motionless, his eyes filled with a coldness that made me shiver.

I bit my lip hard before getting out of the car. He looked at me  like he was going to say something, but then he stayed silent. He simply walked back, got in and drove away until the back of the vehicle was out of sight.

I stayed still. I didn't know where it was. Normally, other than taking a taxi back and forth between home and school, I never went further than the convenience store that was near my house. Until now, I had never taken a bus that took me off the beaten path.

I picked up my cell phone and looked at the completely black screen. He didn't know when the battery had died so he can only sigh before putting it back in the backpack as it was before

I walk forward without a fixed direction. I wrapped my arms around my shoulders as the cool breeze blew the moisture against my face after the rain. I don't know how far I've walked, it was as if this highway had no end. I walked until I couldn't go any further, I even got to the point where I had to sit on the road.

The roar of thunder was heard as some tears rolled down my cheeks. I raised my hand to dry them, but the more I wiped them, the more they flowed. I looked up at the sky and a drop of rain fell on my forearm and then began to multiply by many more.

I got up and continued walking. I hugged myself tighter as soon as I felt the cold snap. I took a few steps and staggered until I fell to my knees on the road. I sobbed and gritted my teeth before standing unsteadily and walking forward again.

ckkiiittt (brake sound)

I was surprised to the point that my heart almost burst out of my chest. With a terrified expression I looked at the pearl white sports car that was pulling to the side of the highway before the windows rolled down to reveal a familiar face.
