Kara was uneasy as she sat in her office that next morning. All she could think about was that kiss. It was so gentle...yet leaving Kara wanted it to happen again...and again...and again. She was busy with an article when her phone buzzed. It was Lena asking her what she wanted for lunch. 'Hmmm? What would I like...maybe I should let her surprise me...yea that would be nice.' Kara thought to herself as she texted Lena to surprise her with something. Smiling to herself she returned to her article before sending it off to Snapper.

Lena smiled when she read Kara's response. "Surprise me!" It was so simple and sweet. "What's got you all smiley?" Sam asked. "Kara just messaged saying I can surprise her with something random for lunch. And...maybe I'm smiling because I had a wonderful time with her last night and even kissed her good night." Lena stated. "Really? Is she as nice as she seems?" Sam asked. "She's better. She's simply amazing Sam! Her apartment is small but it's so homey and she has so many pictures on her walls, of friends and who I assume are her family. It's amazing. She's amazing Sam!" Lena gushes. "Well I'm happy for you Lee! Really!" Sam replied. "Thank you! I'm gonna ask her if she'd like to go out on an actual date tonight." Lena replied.

"Look at you Lee! Where are you gonna take her?" Sam asked. "I'm thinking about that little Italian restaurant. She mentioned she likes Italian, Chinese, Indian, and Mexican foods." Lena replied. "Well that sounds like a good time! I hope everything goes well tonight Lee!" Sam replied with a smile. "I hope so. I really like her Sam." Lena added.

A few hours later Lena stopped at a Mexican restaurant grabbing two different burritos, one chicken, and one beef along with different sauces to dip it in and two soft drinks to go with it. The elevator ride was quiet giving Lena time to think of a way to ask Kara out. Once the elevator opened up on Kara's floor Lena strutted out and headed to Kara's office. One knock later and Kara opened the door with a smile on her face. "Hey Lee! Come in!" Kara exclaimed happily. "How's your day going?" Lena asked. "It's going well, I just finished an article and got it approved to be published. How about your day? How's your day going?" Kara asked as she sat beside her on the sofa.

"It's going great! I only had one meeting today which was amazing because I hate those things. What's your article on?" Lena asked. "It's about the new children's hospital that just opened up." Kara replied. "Oh that's nice! I can't wait to read it." Lena replied. "Yea...now I've got to do a review on this new Italian restaurant that just opened up in town." Kara replied. "Oh? When do you have to have it done by?" Lena asked. "Tomorrow morning...I was actually gonna see if you wanted to go with me to it tonight." Kara admitted. "Really? It's funny out should say that! I was gonna ask you to go to dinner tonight there with me! However you beat me to it!" Lena admitted. Kara laughed at Lena's expression. "Well is that way of saying you'd like to go with me?" Kara asked. "Of course Kar!" Lena replied.
