Today everyone would be heading to Midvale and Lena was nervous about it. "Are you all set Lee?" Kara asked. "Yes, are you? Do we have everything packed? All the gifts and everything?" Lena asked. "Yes love everything is packed in the suv." Kara replied with a smile. "Ok...ok when are we meeting up with everyone?" Lena asked. "In ten minutes. We're gonna get breakfast at a diner and go from there." Kara said. "Ok...let's go shall we?" Lena asked. "Relax Lee, everything's gonna be fine." Kara said reassuring her girlfriend.

A little while later they met up with everyone else at a diner. "Are you all ready to go to Midvale Lena?" Alex asked. "Yes." Lena replied. "Nervous?" Lucy asked. "Yes! Very much so!" Lena replied as they sat down at a table. "No need to be nervous Lee, mom loves you already." Kara reassured. "What can I get ya ladies?" The waitress asked her eyes raking over Kara a little too long for Lena's liking. "I'll have a coffee black, and she'll have a hot coco with whipped cream and cinnamon on top." Lena sneered at her. "And for you?" The waitress asked blushing now from Lena's glaring eyes.

Once everyone gave their drink order the woman disappeared. "Lee...why did you get so snappy?" Kara whispered. "She was ogling my soulmate, I wasn't gonna allow it to continue. For love of god she was undressing you with her eyes." Lena whispered. Kara rolled her eyes at her girlfriend only for Lena to lean in again her mouth ghosting her ear. "Kara Danvers...you are mine..." Lena purred. Kara's head dropped as a blush snaked up her neck and onto her face.

"Lee..." Kara groaned. "Just stating facts darling." Lena replied as their drinks arrived. "What to eat ladies?" The waitress asked. "I'll have the waffles and sausages." Kara replied. "I'll have the short stack of blueberry pancakes and bacon." Alex said. "I'll have the biscuits and sausage gravy." Lucy chimed in. "I'll take the breakfast burrito with extra salsa and extra cheese." Sam said. "I'll have the short stack of strawberry pancakes and sausages." Kelly added. "And I'll have the sausage, egg and cheese croissant." Lena's order rounded out the table.

The waitress left once more leaving  the women to talk amongst themselves. "Not very hungry are you Lena?" Sam asked. "Oh I am...I'll snag some of Kara's sausages though." Lena replied with a smirk. Kara playfully slapped Lena's arm. "So will we all be staying at Eliza's?" Sam asked. "Actually...no...you and I will be staying at my parents house across the street. They're looking forward to meeting you. Especially after Eliza told them about you." Lucy said with a smile. Sam turned a ghostly white at hearing her girlfriend's words. "Don't worry Sam they'll love you." Alex added. "Yea, the Lane's are really nice people. You have nothing to worry about." Kara added. "Ok...I'm just nervous now...I thought we were gonna be having Christmas with Eliza...thats all." Sam replied. "We are. We always go to Eliza's for Christmas dinner, we can give her our gifts then." Lucy replied. "Oh..ok.." Sam replied with a smile. A little while later their food arrived and everyone tucked into their meals, and soon Lena was snagging sausages off Kara's plate.
