The next morning Kara sat in her office going over the photos for this month's magazine. She wanted to pull her hair out with these ridiculous photos she had to deal with. "Julie! Could you get me the photography department please?" Kara asked. "Yes Kara!" Julie replied. A few minutes later the newest photographer arrived in Kara's office. "You...asked for me Miss Danvers?" She stammered. "Yes! I want to know where you learned to take pictures from?" Kara asked. "Uh...from Metropolis University...why?" She asked. "Cause these are all terrible! It looks like amateur night at an art gallery. Go back out and take all new photos!" Kara stated. The girl however just stood there unsure of what to do. "NOW! Go on!" Kara snapped. "Yes...Miss Danvers!" The young girl said as she quickly ran out of the office.

Kara sank back into her chair and rubbed her temples. "I ask for simple photos of a grand opening...and I get blurred images of god knows what!" Kara groaned. "Rough day?" A voice asked from outside the door. "Uh...yea you could say that..." Kara replied as she looked up to see Miss Grant standing there. "I knew you were the right person for this job Kara, thats why I put you in this position. And you keep showing me why I made the right choice. Never settle for half assed photos for this magazine." Cat stated. Kara nodded in response before Cat disappeared again.

Kara remained in her office most of the day only leaving to go talk to the arts department once before returning to prepare for lunch with Lena. "Julie? Could you please place an order for two chicken salads one with extra ranch on the side and one with French dressing on the side, and two strawberry lemonades please?" Kara asked. "Yes Kara." Julie said. "Thanks!" Kara replied as she returned to her desk to go over papers.

Her phone rang suddenly causing her to jump. "Hello? Oh hey mom! What's up?" Kara asked. "Hello dear! Is everything ok? You sound stressed." Eliza said. "Oh...just had to yell at an amateur photographer for taking blurry photos of the grand opening of a new hospital." Kara replied. "Oh I see." Eliza replied. "I didn't want to yell at her..but she's been her almost a year and should know how to take a decent photograph by now." Kara replied. "And you're right. Now..how was your dinner with Lilian and Lionel?" Eliza asked. "It went well I suppose. They seemed to like me well enough." Kara replied. "I'm sure you did just fine my dear." Eliza said.

"I hope so. We discussed everything under the sun from children, to when we'd be getting married. And they seemed happy to know that I'm now Editor and Chief of Cat Co." Kara replied. "Well....thats good. They're probably just happy that Lena's soulmate makes good money and not some burger flipper." Eliza teased. "Ha ha! Anyhow...would you be able to come down so we all could have dinner together?" Kara asked. The question caught Eliza off guard. "Uh...I can come down next week...I have time off I can use." Eliza replied. "Oh good! You can stay with us if you like. I'll talk to Lena about us hosting dinner at our place." Kara added.

"Well you talk to your fiancé and get back to me I'm ok with anywhere you know that, but yes I accept your offer to stay with you two." Eliza said. "Great! Oh..can I call you back in a bit? Lena's here." Kara said. "Of course! Tell her I say hello." Eliza said before ending the call. Lena sat down on the sofa and looked at Kara. "Eliza's coming next week for dinner with your family. I've suggested she stay with us and we can host dinner too...if you like." Kara suggested. "That's fine, better actually. That way everyone can see our place and get to know one another in a quiet atmosphere." Lena replied. "Ok..oh I've ordered lunch already..so it should be here in a little bit." Kara said. "Oh good." Lena replied.
