After dishes were done up everyone passed out the gifts for their friends. "Kara...can we talk in private?" Lena asked. "Sure..what's up?" Kara asked as they stepped out onto the back porch. "Kara Danvers...before you came into my office..I told myself that I didn't have a soulmate. However when you walked in and I finally got you to look at me I was happy to see that I had a soulmate after all...so that being said...Kara Danvers...will you marry me?" Lena asked. "Yes! But...only if you'll marry me?" Kara asked as she pulled out the engagement ring she bought for Lena. "Yes! Of course!" Lena exclaimed. They slipped their rings on each other's fingers and walked inside together. "CONGRATULATIONS!" Everyone cheered. "Wait...everyone knew?" Kara asked. "Apparently..." Lena replied. "Welcome to the family officially Lena!" Eliza said with a smile. "Thank you!" Lena replied. After a few dozen 'Congregations' from everyone the new fiancés sat back on the sofa together.
"Well...I think we'll be heading home now. Have a Merry Christmas!" Mr. And Mrs. Lane said. "Merry Christmas!" Everyone called as the door of the Danvers house shut behind everyone. "I can't believe you're gonna be my sister in law!" Alex exclaimed happily as she pulled Lena into a tight hug. "Thank you Alex! Really." Lena replied. They pulled apart and smiled at each other before Lena walked into another hug from Eliza and Kelly.
When all the hugging was over Kara and Lena walked off upstairs for bed. "Are you happy?" Kara asked. "Yes! Are you?" Lena replied. "Yes!" Kara replied with a smile. "Im glad you said yes. I was pretty nervous for a bit." Lena admitted. "You were nervous? I was nervous too." Kara replied. "I love you!" Lena whispered as they lay in bed. "I love you too." Kara whispered as she leaned in and kissed Lena's lips.
