They have officially moved in together and today they were going to work after a busy weekend. The car ride to Cat Co. and L. Corp were short but filled with chatter. "I'll see you later for lunch." Lena said with a smile. "I'll be there at noon." Kara replied with a smile. They shared a quick kiss before kara walked into the building. Kara went to her office and began working on her latest article.
Lena sat behind her office desk and immediately began a meeting with some company in Japan who wanted to make a deal with L Corp. As the day dragged on Lena began missing Kara's presence. The bubbly blonde made her whole day, Kara made Lena's whole life worth living again. Biting her lips she looked at her clock and saw it was nearing noon. "Kara..." Lena whispered to herself.
Kara had stopped at their favorite restaurant and picked up the to go order and was just heading into L Corp elevator. 'Ding' The elevator stopped on the top floor allowing Kara to get off. Food and beverages in her hands she walked to Lena's office. "Kara!" Lena greeted with a smile. "Hey darling! I got your favorites." Kara said. "You didn't have to do that...but thank you love." Lena replied. Kara sat the stuff down before pulling Lena into a heated kiss. "I missed that..." Lena groaned. "Me too!" Kara replied with as smile.
They took seats on the sofa and began eating their food when there was a knock on Lena's door. "Come in!" Lena called just as Sam walked into the room. "Oh hello Kara how are you?" Sam asked. "I'm good, how are you Sam?" Kara replied. "I'm ok..." Sam replied. "Rough day Sam?" Lena asked. "Yea...it's been a long day." Sam said. "You want some?" Kara asked. "Oh no...my assistant brought me lunch in already...but thank you." Sam replied.
After a while Kara and Lena told Sam that they moved in together and Sam was very happy for them. "Saturday we're hosting a small dinner party. Some of my friends will be there...so maybe one of them will be your soulmate." Kara added. "Thank you for the invite Kara..I'll be there. What time does it start?" Sam asked. "Five. It's casual so just come as you are. There will be plenty of food and wine." Lena added. "Ok! I'll be there...I've got to go...another meeting coming up soon." Sam replied as she quickly left the office.
