the day of jay's departure arrived faster than jungwon could have ever imagined. every moment felt like a countdown to an inevitable goodbye, and jungwon's heart ached with every passing second. the halls of the airport were filled with travelers, each person a reminder that jay would soon be one of them, leaving jungwon behind.

jay stood near the security checkpoint, his suitcase by his side. he tried to hold back his tears, but the weight of the moment was too much. he looked around, hoping for one last glimpse of jungwon before he left. he knew it was unlikely, but a part of him couldn't help but wish.

"flight 143 to busan, final boarding call," the announcement echoed through the airport, making jay's heart sink. it was almost time. he took a deep breath, trying to muster the strength to step forward.

just as jay was about to head through security, he heard a familiar voice shout his name. "jay hyung!!!" jungwon's voice rang out, desperate and filled with emotion.

jay turned, his eyes widening in disbelief as he saw jungwon sprinting towards him, weaving through the crowd. jungwon's face was flushed, and tears streamed down his cheeks. jay's heart pounded in his chest as jungwon finally reached him, breathless and frantic.

"wonnie, what are you doing here?" jay asked, his voice cracking with emotion.

jungwon didn't answer right away. instead, he grabbed jay by the shoulders and pulled him into a passionate kiss. the world around them seemed to blur, and all that mattered was the feeling of their lips meeting, the warmth of their embrace, and the love they shared.

as they pulled apart, both boys were crying. "i couldn't let you go without saying goodbye," jungwon said, his voice trembling. "i love you, hyung. i don't want to lose you."

jay's heart felt like it was breaking all over again. "i love you too, wonnie," he whispered, his tears falling freely. "but i have to go... my family..."

jungwon shook his head, his grip on jay tightening. "please, jay. don't go. stay with me. we'll figure it out, i promise."

jay felt torn, the weight of his family's expectations pulling him in one direction, and his love for jungwon pulling him in another. he looked into jungwon's eyes, seeing the desperation and hope there.

"final call for flight 143 to busan," the announcement repeated, urgency in its tone.

jay took a deep breath, his mind racing. he knew he had to make a choice, one that would define his future.

"i can't do it," jay finally said, his voice firm despite the tears. "i can't leave you, jungwon. you're my one and only. if staying here means my parents are mad, then so be it. i can't lose you."

jungwon's eyes widened with hope and relief. "r-really?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

jay nodded, pulling jungwon into another embrace. "really," he said, his voice filled with determination. "we'll find a way to make it work. together."

as they stood there, holding each other tightly, the final boarding call came and went. the world around them moved on, but for jay and jungwon, time seemed to stand still. their love, stronger than any distance or obstacle, would guide them through whatever challenges lay ahead.

in that moment, they knew that no matter what happened, they would always have each other. their hearts, forever intertwined, beat as one, their love unbreakable and eternal.

...

jay's parents were furious when they found out he missed the flight. his father, especially, was livid, his voice shaking with anger as he confronted jay. "what were you thinking, jay? this move is important for our family!"

jay stood his ground, his heart pounding in his chest but his resolve unwavering. "i'm sorry, dad, but i can't leave jungwon. i love him."

his mother, trying to calm the situation, looked between her husband and son with concern. "but jay, what about our plans? your future?"

jay took a deep breath, meeting his parents' eyes with determination. "i know this is hard to understand, but jungwon is my future. we can find a way to make this work. please, try to understand."

his father's face softened slightly, the anger giving way to a mix of frustration and reluctant understanding. "this isn't what we wanted for you, jay," he said quietly. "but if this is what you truly want, we'll find a way to support you."

jay's mother stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "just promise us you'll think about your future, too," she said softly. "we want you to be happy, but we also want you to have a secure future."

jay nodded, tears of relief welling up in his eyes. "thank you, mom. thank you, dad. i promise, i'll work hard to make you proud."

as his parents embraced him, jay felt a weight lift off his shoulders. he knew the road ahead would be challenging, but with jungwon by his side and his parents' reluctant support, he felt ready to face whatever the future held. their love, tested and proven strong, would guide them through any obstacles, and together, they would find their way.
