Nineteen year old Theo Lockhart is known by everybody that passes by for being 'the guy on the street.' His face is riddled with scars, which is the main reason why eighteen year old Eliza Hayes develops such a desperation to take him into her home. He declines at first, but eventually gives in, much to the dismay of Eliza's mother. It doesn't take long for feelings to grow between the pair, amongst the obstacles that stand in their path such as Eliza's overbearing mother; her ex-boyfriend; and someone that causes an irreparable scar...the person from Theo's past hellbent on revenge.
