I leaned against the wall and watch Andy. There are three days until the court hearing. Something strange has been going on between me and him. Since that night he'd told me he wouldn't let my mother win, we've been distance. He doesn't look me in the eye...heck he barley looks at me. We exchange good mornings and good nights and that was it. Dad turned and looked at me then quickly looked away as his eyes meet mine. That was it. I stormed over to him and shoved him roughly. "What the fuck is your problem?" I yelled at him.
Something snapped in him. "Shut up you little slut! Who do you think you fucking are talking to me like?" He snarled. "I'M YOUR DAUGHTER!!" I snapped back. A loud smack echoed in the kitchen. My hands went to clasp my check as i looked up at me dad in horror. As realization of what he'd done began to sink in, he reached for me. I stepped away from him. "Faye..I'm...I'm sorry." I shook my head as tears fell down my checks.
"Don't touch me." I snapped as he moved forward to hug me. His hands fell to his side. "Please Faye..I'm just so stressed .I didn't mean to.." I shoved him away from me roughly. "Leave me alone Andrew!" I yelled and ran to my room.
--time skip--

I was sitting on the couch watching an American Horror Story. I had stayed in my room until my dad had left for work at eight this morning. I kept nervously looking down at my phone. I was waiting on a text from Andy saying he was on his way home. I didn't want to see him. I shifted uncomfortably and touched my cheek.

A bruise had formed across my face last night. I know he hadn't meant to hit me that hard. I cursed under my breath. Great now i was defending him. I heard the front door unlock and I froze. Andy stepped through the door and smiled when he saw me. "Hey baby girl.." His voice drifted off and his eyes widened. I picked myself up and made a mad dash to the bed room. I heard Andy chasing after me. He forced the door open and looked down at me.
I had forced myself between the bed and the wall. Andy sighed and sat on the side of my bed. "Come here." I slowly got up and walked to him. He pulled me onto his lap. His fingers slowly traced my bruise. It wasn't bad, already yellowing around the edges. He sighed and brushed his lips against my cheek. "I'm so sorry Faye." I cupped his face and smiled at him sweetly."Its okay daddy. We'll get through this"
