The doors to the Pokémon centre opened wide, Abaeze - with a Gym Badge's worth of extra experience - comes here to restore his Pokémon to their full vitality. As he walked in the same nurse that had met him when he first arrived at Benti was still there to see him return from his battle. He seemed deep in thought, though that was to be expected from those who challenged Gym Leaders, win or lose.
"Welcome back sir, may I help rest your Pokémon?"
Abaeze nodded, as he proceeded to take his Pokéballs out of his bag. As he did the nurse noticed what was pinned to his bag, a warm smile glossing over her face.
"Ah! Is that the Tonitro Badge I see on your bag? Congratulations!"
Abaeze smiled as he handed his Pokémon over the counter and towards the nurse to have her heal his team.
"Thank you miss! Though I hope you don't mind me having to come back here so soon."
"Oh, think nothing of it. It brings me great joy being able to see the trainers that come by here on their journeys, young and old."
She readily took his Pokémon and following a short jingle his Pokémon were back to full fighting form. Returning the Pokémon to his bag he hauled it over his shoulder and thanked the nurse again before heading out to make departure from the city. Waving the young trainer off as the doors closed the nurse wished Abaeze luck in her mind.
Stepping outside once again Abaeze was shrouded in darkness, only the illumination of scant lights from the Pokémon Centre and some of the surrounding building preventing full pitch blackness to descend upon the vicinity. As he began to travel towards his motor vehicle he pondered about where his next destination should be. Whilst he'd want to dive straight into the 3rd Gym, if the intensity of battle was only going to soar then he should take a chance to breath now before he gets overwhelmed by such intense emotions again.
With the story shared by Weerlig, maybe he could take a look at the company she made? He didn't know that much kind of stuff so maybe it could enlighten him. Though just as he reached his motorbike he froze as he heard a voice cry out to him.
"Well well well, you seein' what I'm seein', Destiny? Princess?"
Abaeze practically span around a full 180 degrees to find himself surrounded by too many familiar faces. Team Nerve grunts, with Nerve's Gluttony standing at the forefront towering over Abaeze at well over 6 foot. Esuri gave a snarky grin towards Abaeze thanks to the expression of shock wrought across his face.
"One of the runts that tried to face us head on, am I right?"
Abaeze knew it was too much wishful thinking that they would've walked away quietly after they were defeated. Though before he had a chance to bring out a Pokémon it seemed initial concerns may have been unfounded.
"Relax kid, I ain't gonna fight ya. Don't even got my Pokémon or anything. I'd probably still win anyways that Jazmine girl was just lucky- ahem. Someone paid bail for us, makes life easier doesn't it? Haha!"
Abaeze seemed less agitated, they seemed honest enough and there wouldn't be much of a reason to lie about something like that. Though it isn't like he was going to act like best friends with them, they are still evil.
"Well, I wish you the best."
He turned back to the motorbike. Esuri slightly leaned to the side to catch a glimpse, now seeing what it was he was doing within the darkness that still covered the sky.
"Getting mileage outta that I see, that was Destiny's right?"
Destiny, meanwhile, is standing behind biting her tongue, still clearly furious about her vehicle just being taken without her prior consent or consideration. Well, at least he seemed to be keeping it in good condition. Abaeze did have one issue though.
