They twisted the knife through their fingers, thoroughly.

Their fun was quickly brought to a halt, as the dreaded presence of an evil beast loomed over them.

"END....THIS....BOREDOM!" It spouted with malicious intent. "YOU....HAVE...POWER....USE...IT!" It continued.

Wing didn't even move.

They just sat, moving the blade through their fingers once more.

"THEY....ARE....ALL....EVIL!" It cried out. "END....THEM!"

They still refused to make a sound.

"MAKE....THEM....SUFFER!" It ordered. "KILL....THEM!"

Wing finally lifted their head, to see the monster before them.

"No." They responded.

"YOU....SHOW....WEAKNESS!" It chose it's words without much thought.

"I told you that I'd kill once I'm finished helping Headzo." They explained.

"LOOK....AT....YOU!" It began, "YOU....ARE....DISAPPOINTING!" It continued, "YOUR....BODY....IS...
.POWERLESS!"

"I am the one in control, not you. My strength is my mind, and my mind is mine. Now leave me for now." They were calm but losing patience.

"YOU....HAVE....NO.....STRENGTH....NO...INSTINCT....NO....CONTROL!" It was failing. "I....CONTROL.....YOUR.....BODY.....YOUR.....HEAD.....YOUR.....EYES.....YOUR.....MOUTH....YOUR...EARS....I....OWN...THE...VERY...HAIR...ON....YOUR....SCALP!"It desired the power.

This final sentiment nagged at them, making their hands shake and their fists cletch.

In a moment of fury, the knife was sent hurtling towards the wall.

"YOU OWN NOTHING!" They screamed.

The shadow backed up slightly, realising its mistake.

"If you can't remain silent, then I'll place a barrier over you, and control you myself!" They promised.

As they spoke, their eyes glanced around the room, looking for anything that would work.

Before long, they settled their gaze on a can of light-pink spray paint, that'd been left behind from one of Headzo's projects.

Wing made their dash to the can and instinctively covered their hair with the gas, until it was completely covered.

"See. I'm the one in control!" they bragged, before noticing the creature had vanished.
