"So you're telling me that, Jim hasn't reversed back to his normal size and that instead of going to school. Which is understandable, we are going to stage a sickness and make it seem like he is big and not doll size. Am I getting that right?" Y/n asked pinching her nose thinking, this was a good plan and could go very very wrong with the choice that Toby made last night.
"Yeah, I mean it is better than going mini size, and I don't want to be whisked away to some lab to be tested on," Jim chuckled as he organized notes and set up the phone to be used as Toby grabbed his computer and started the meeting and connected the two for when Toby got to the class.
"Agree to that Jimbo," Toby agreed wholeheartedly while internally praying all would go right.
"I am so glad, I practiced my Spanish," Y/n muttered under her breath internally thanking herself for using Duolingo and completing the lessons. Which was recommended by her middle school teacher when Y/n was interested in Spanish unlike now, and finished the whole thing with perfect scores even though it took a couple of years. "Well, if we are going to do that, we must get going now and I can let everyone know at rehearsal that you are sick and couldn't come today." Y/n sighed remembering the Romeo and Juliet play that was going on. "Also Toby,"
"Yeah, N/n?" Toby hummed as he finished setting up the video call thing.
"Don't forget your swim stuff for the gym today," She bluntly told the boy. Toby blinked as realization sunk in before he bolted out of the room to grab his swim clothes.
Jim chuckled lightly, knowing that Toby sometimes forgot small things. "Thanks again, Y/n for covering for me for the play it's a lot," Y/n blinked and looked down to the miniature Jim who was chuckling nervously as it was clear the boy was stressed.
"It is perfectly fine, Jim," Y/n replied truthfully smiling lightly at the boy, her e/c eyes glistened lightly in the sunlight that crept through the window. "You're stressed, but we can only hope that once the play is over with. You can focus more on studies and the Trollhunting business and you know that Toby and I will always be here for you."
Jim smiled as a light blush crept onto his cheeks, "Yeah, thanks again N/n." Y/n nodded, before grabbing her backpack and then noticing that the three bracelets she couldn't get off earlier were gone and vanished.
"Huh?"
"Everything alright?" Jim asks noticing her pause.
"Just three of my bracelets that I had on my wrist are gone," Y/n replies carefully, as Jim blinks confused.
"Bracelets you never had bracelets on, not even within the past few days," Jim replied completely confused causing Y/n to freeze confusion and shock racking through her form.
"What?" Was all Y/n could say as she was in disbelief as she looked at Jim her face was twisted and furrowed as Jim opened his mouth to say something Toby came bolting into the room.
"Come on N/n we are about to be late, and you know how Mr.Uhl can be if someone is late for the final!" Toby grabbed Y/n's hand and started dragging the poor girl out the door and down the stairs to head to the school with a computer in hand. Jim watched frozen lightly as multiple thoughts were racing through his head, as he had noticed how much Y/n had changed over the past few days. Granted she is still the same for the most part but it seems that she is acting.......more wary as if she knows something yet doesn't at the same time. Jim also couldn't get the thought about bracelets out of his head, with your comment. When did you start wearing bracelets? He had never seen you wear any bracelets at all in the entire time he had known the girl, and never once had he seen her wear any kind of bracelet on either one of her wrists as creepy as that sounds. Jim pushes the thought to the side and decides to focus on getting his Spanish Final ready as he set up in the dollhouse to make it seem like he was a normal size and not.....the size that he was.
