'It would be great to feel nothing right now' season 1 episode 21

Cut to Skye inside a hotel room, she is looking at a picture of Ward – the picture she took in the diner to turn them in.

Peter : You missed him didn't you.

Skye : Ish. I was upset but i didn't miss him.

There's a knock on the door, Skye takes the picture off as May enters, and she's hold two sodas in her hand.

Hill : May to the rescue.

May : Shut up Ria.

May: You never came out to eat.

Skye: Not much of an appetite.

Clint : you mean you are too busy obsessing over the fact your crush is a murderer

Skye : Not obsessing, upset.

Ward : See you did care

Skye : Shut up Ward.

May hands her the soda and she takes it, then May sits on the other bed facing Skye.

Wanda : Some mother daughter bonding time.

Pepper : Just saying, if i knew any better i would say you two are related.

Natasha : she isn't wrong.

May: Look, Fitz can't process the truth about Ward, not yet. What he said...it's what he needs to believe.

Steve : He will process it on his own terms.

Fitz : and i did when he threw me into the ocean.

Natasha : you did what?!

Ward : relax they survived.

Simmons : Fitz barely made it out alive.

Fitz : Exactly and I wish you would feel what it felt like to lose your breathe in your lungs.

Skye : I volunteer to make him feel that way if i am being honest.

Hunter : Why is he still here? Like really? He is being nothing but useless.

Trip : He is useless, i used to be a big fan of you Agent Ward. Now? Not so much.

Skye looks over at her then moves to directly face her.

Skye: Neither do I. You know, I never gave you enough credit for this whole Zen-warrior thing. But I got to admit, it'd be nice to feel nothing right now.

Loki : wouldn't that be nice.

May : You know i can feel emotions.

Fitz : Really? you're like a statue.

Hunter : yeah i have seen you smile or at least smirk once since meeting you.

May : im not a happy person that's all, but i do feel emotions.

Skye : sometimes i wish i couldn't feel anything to be honest.

Peter : that sounds so depressing.

Skye : life gets that way sometimes.

Once again May scoffs and smiles a bit.

May: You think I don't feel anything.

Skye: Look at you, you're a statue. And you and Ward had a thing. So if anyone should be furious –

May : i would do anything to kill you right here and now.

Coulson : that is quite literally the only reason you're still alive is for information.

Ward : Which i'm not going to give to you or anyone else but Skye.

Skye : awe I feel so special.

She says this through gritted teeth as Skye looks at her surprised.

Maria : you should feel special May is telling you this if I am being honest.

Coulson: yeah she isn't the most open person, not even to me.

May : why talk about feelings , they're useless to talk about, that's why I savour them.

May: I am furious. But I'm sure as hell not going to waste it on a tantrum.

Tony : You must be pretty damn good at fighting for Nick Fury to give you a compliment.

May: I'm gonna mine it, save it...and when we find Ward, I'm gonna use every bit of it to take him down.

Hunter : she is on a murder mission for sure.

Peter : I can't wait to see you fight.

Natasha : you will be amazed. For a short woman, she sure knows how to fight.

May : Because I train and I don't waste time doing silly things.

She gives May a smile, which May doesn't return.

May: I'm up most mornings at 5:00.

Clint : being trained by Agent May, that will give you a huge boost in training.

Natasha : Melinda is one of the best trainers for new agents to be honest.

May : yeah I don't normally take on anyone because I hate training people. But I had to help somehow.
