The sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the halls as Y/N and Subaru sprinted through the mansion, their hearts pounding in their chests. The weight of Subaru's revelation hung heavily between them, urgency pressing them forward. As they rounded a corner, they entered the main hall and came face-to-face with Rem and Ram, who were finishing up their evening chores. The twins turned in unison, their expressions shifting from calm indifference to mild surprise at the sight of the two boys barreling toward them.

Subaru, catching his breath, thrust out his hand, displaying the bite mark that marred his skin. His voice was rushed but clear.

[Subaru]: "This bite-It's from the dog in the village. It's a curse. The children... the village is in danger!"

Rem and Ram, ever composed, blinked in unison, their eyes widening slightly as they processed Subaru's words. Despite their stoic demeanor, the severity of the situation was not lost on them. Subaru's frantic tone filled the hall with an air of palpable tension.

Before anyone could respond, another door opened, revealing Emilia, her silver hair shimmering in the low light of the hall. Her violet eyes were filled with worry as she stepped forward, her voice soft yet concerned.

[Emilia]: "What's going on? What's all this noise about?"

Subaru turned to her, still catching his breath, his face etched with concern and frustration.

[Subaru]: "There's no time to explain everything, but the village-there's something wrong. The kids could be in danger."

Emilia's expression tightened with worry, her gaze flicking to Y/N and Subaru, then to Rem and Ram, as the situation dawned on her. She stepped forward decisively, her hands clenched into fists at her sides.

[Emilia]: "If the village is in danger, then I'll go with you! We have to make sure the children are safe."

Before she could take another step, Ram moved swiftly, her hand raised as if to stop Emilia in her tracks.

[Ram]: "Emilia-sama, it would be wiser for you to remain at the mansion. It's safer here, and you are our priority."

Emilia's lips parted in protest, clearly unwilling to be sidelined, but before she could argue further, Y/N stepped forward, his voice calm and gentle, yet resolute.

[Y/N]: "Ram's right. You should stay here, Emilia. Ram can protect you, and that way, we can move faster and focus on what's happening in the village. We'll make sure the kids are safe."

Emilia turned to Y/N, her eyes softening but still filled with reluctance. There was something in his voice, a sense of assurance that calmed her nerves, even if it didn't fully remove her desire to help. She bit her lip, still hesitating, but eventually nodded.
