As finals week approached at U.A., the air in the dorms was thick with tension. Students were cramming for exams, and the pressure was palpable. You and Bakugou had decided to take this time seriously, but it felt more like a battle than a study session. The only times you both had a chance to communicate were those rare moments when you bumped into each other in the kitchen at 2 a.m.

One night, you found yourself in the kitchen, bleary-eyed and rifling through cabinets for a late-night snack. You sighed, feeling the weight of your textbooks pressing down on your shoulders. Just as you were about to give up and head back to your room, Bakugou walked in, looking equally exhausted. His hair was a mess, and dark circles were forming under his eyes and his outfit told you that he had gone out to either attend a group study or to study in the library.

"Hey, idiot," he said, walking over to you. "You look like you're about to collapse."

"I'm fine," you replied, trying to brush it off, but the fatigue was evident in your voice.

Bakugou rolled his eyes, not buying it for a second. "I brought you something." He reached into his backpack and pulled out a bag of your favorite chocolates and a bottle of milk tea-flavored drink, handing them to you. "Here. Don't eat all of it at once, or you'll feel worse."

Your heart swelled at the thoughtful gesture. "Thanks, Katsuki. You didn't have to do this."

"Just take them," he insisted, a hint of a smile on his lips. "You need it more than I do. Good luck with the exam tomorrow."

You accepted the snacks, feeling a mix of gratitude and warmth. "You too. Don't overdo it, alright? We both need to be at our best."

He nodded, his expression softening just for a moment. "Yeah. Just don't flake out, okay? I expect you to score higher than everyone else."

"Same goes for you," you shot back playfully, giving him a nudge as a teasing grin spread across your face. "I know you're used to doing everything on your own, but even the great Katsuki Bakugou needs to take care of himself, right?"

Bakugou scoffed, but there was a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Tch, I'm fine. I don't need anyone worrying about me."

You raised an eyebrow, knowing better than to take him at his word. "Sure you don't. Just remember, if you crash and burn during the exam, I'm not carrying you to the nurse's office."

He smirked, his competitive nature flaring up even in light banter. "Like I'd let you carry me. I'm the one who's gonna crush the exams, remember?"

"Yeah, yeah," you replied, rolling your eyes. "Just don't blame me when you're up all night stressing over your notes."

With a final laugh, you retreated to your room, feeling lighter after the interaction. You glanced back to see Bakugou already rummaging through his own bag, the faintest hint of a smile still on his face. It was moments like these, amidst the stress of finals week, that reminded you of how much you appreciated having him in your life, even if he sometimes acted like a stubborn pain.

The day of the exams arrived, and the tension in the air was electric. You sat in the auditorium, surrounded by your classmates, your heart racing as the proctor handed out the exam papers. The murmurs of nervous chatter filled the room, punctuated by the rustle of pages and the scratch of pens. You felt the familiar flutter of anxiety in your stomach, but you took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself.

As you glanced around, you noticed your classmates' varying reactions. Some were tapping their pencils nervously, while others were deep in quiet concentration, flipping through their notes one last time. You could spot Todoroki sitting a few rows ahead, his usual calm demeanor seeming unshaken. Momo was beside him, her hands clasped in front of her, exuding an air of confidence that made you feel a little better.
