Liam and Zayn sat in the football locker rooms, blankly listening to Parkinson's blank instructions. Liam twiddled his thumbs, sweating profusely. Zayn stared at him, confused.

"Dude, what's going on?" Zayn asked, confused.

"Nothing..." Liam lied.

"Bro, you can tell me. We've been best friends since God knows when..."

Liam took a deep breath.

"I think something's up with Ashlynn..." Liam confessed. Zayn laughed.

"There's always something up with her. You should dump her." Zayn suggested.

"I love her, but... she's just been weird."

"It's Ashlynn. What did you expect?"

"I think... I think she's... p...pr..." Liam stuttered, nervous.

"Spit it out, bro. I'm here for you." Zayn egged him on.

"I can't do it!" Liam cried, bursting into tears. The entire football team stared at him weirdly, like he was an idiot.

"Dude, stop being emotional and tell me what the fuck is going on..."

"She's changed since I first met her." Liam cried.

"True. She's put on a few since last year..."

"That's not the point! It's just... she's been giving me the silent treatment. I can't help but feel empathy for her..."

"Ugh! You're too emotional!" Zayn whined.

"But..."

"Grow a pair and break up with her. She treats you like utter shit. I can't stand for that!" Zayn argued.

Liam sulked, his head melting into his sweaty hands.

"How's Caitlin?" he asked, changing the subject.

"She broke up with me. I think she's gay for Lucy." Zayn answered.

"Who wouldn't? If I weren't with Ashlynn, I would totally fuck Lucy." Liam laughed.

"Pervert!"

"Dude, you send nude snapchats to every girl in the school. Practically the entire student body has seen your tiny penis." Liam joked.

"Bro!" Zayn snapped, offended.

"Just saying."

Parkinson noticed the boys waffling and giggling to each other. He raised his eyebrows, seriously concerned.

"What's going on?" Parkinson said, suspicious.

"Nothing, coach." Liam lied.

"Tell me."

"Uh..."

"Were you even listening to what I just said?" Parkinson asked, frustrated. Zayn and Liam stared at him, blankly.

"Yes, coach." Zayn lied. Parkinson rolled his eyes.

"What was I talking about?"

The two looked at him like confused puppies. Shahid giggled a little bit.

"It's not funny, Khan!" Parkinson snapped. Shahid suddenly stopped.

"Sorry, coach."

"You weren't even listening, were you?" Parkinson asked, squinting his eyebrows. The two shook their heads, scared. "Pathetic."

Lucy and Caitlin stood in front of the mirror in the girls' bathroom, adjusting their eye and lip make-up. Lucy applied a pretty, soft pink lipstick, while Caitlin applied a line of thick black mascara on her eyelashes.
