Chapter 10

Shawn's P.O.V

I just got back from running into Kayleigh. I know that's she's right but she can't know why I'm acting weird!

I was really bored so I decided to write a song... I'm not sure what to right about yet though. I guess I'll just write whatever comes to my head.

I don't need a clock to tell what the time is? No. I don't need a watch to tell... No wait! Think I don't need a watch to tell the time. Yes right okay what sort of rhymes with time...? Lime? Mine? Crime? Shine!

And by the end of this I had the first verse finished but I didn't know what else to write about I needed more inspiration, so I'll write some more tomorrow!

Nikki's P.O.V

It was now Thursday and I was at school. It was lunch and Kay, Shawn, Hayes and I were sitting in the canteen. Kayleigh had text me last night saying that Shawn was acting weird, but he seemed okay today I think. My next lesson was science.

*Ring, Ring!*

The bell rang and Hayes and I made our way to science whilst Shawn and Kay went to performing arts. We arrived at our science and I noticed Courtney was sitting in my seat which was next to Hayes. I wasn't going to say anything as she would probably threaten me when I got home if I did. So I just turned and started to walk to her original seat. Before I could get anywhere Hayes grabbed my hand, spun me around and pulled me towards where Courtney was sitting. "Excuse me, I believe you're sitting in Nikki's seat." Hayes said politely to Courtney. "Ugh, why would you want to sit with her. We had so much fun yesterday!" She smiled, disgustingly. "You might have, but I'd rather sit next to Nik because I actually like her! She is not a low person like you are." Hayes replied sticking up for me. "Whatever." She spitted before getting up and walking away. "Thank you..." I said to Hayes. "Anytime, but we need to talk." He said, seriously. "Okay..." I replied.

Shawn's P.O.V

I walked to performing arts with Kay. After our small argument yesterday everything has basically gone back to normal. We sat down in our normal seats. "For the next part of our course, you will be writing your own song and performing it to the class." Mr. Worthington explained. I'll just finish the one I am writing now.

Kay's P.O.V

I've only just noticed that Dionne and Daniel were in my performing arts class. I'd finished the worksheet so I went to the back to talk to them. "Hey guys! What are you talking aboutttt??" I chirped. "Hey, Kayleigh. We're just talking about the party we are hosting tomorrow night." Dionne said. "You can come if you want!" Daniel smiled. "Oh and bring your group of friends!" Dionne said. Oh my god they're like finishing each other's sentences! "Are you sure?!" I asked. "Yeah you guys seem really nice!!" Daniel said. "Aw thank you!" I smiled. "What time does it start?" I asked. "7pm and finishes at 2am." They both said. "Okay thank you guys I'll let them know." I smiled going back to my seat. "We just got invited to a party!" I said to Shawn. "Sick." He replied before turning and talking to the people next to him. Uh okay?
