Chapter 21

Nash's P.O.V

After the film had finished we just talked about random things like where we used to live and what made us move down here which was Mum's new job.

"So what are everyone's plans for tomorrow?" Hayes asked. "I'm going out with Toni." Shannon said. "Who's Toni?" I asked. "Well she's my friend and Nikki's sister." She replied. "Oh, sick...Well I'm with Matt so why don't we all go out?" I suggested. There was a chorus of yeses. "Shall we go to the beach?" Kay asked. "Yeah sure why not." Nik said.

Nik's P.O.V

Kay, Shawn, Shannon and Toni were in Shannon's car and Hayes, Matt, Nash and I were in Nash's. We arrived at the beach after a short journey. Me and Kay dumped our stuff down, stripped to our bikinis and ran towards the sea leaving everyone else to sort out the towels and everything. "Guys!" Shannon yelled as we ran away. "So long suckersssss!" Kay yelled back. We were in the sea for a little bit just talking and messing around when I turned around. "Kay..." I said trying to find her arm whilst my eyes were fixed up on the sand. "What?" She asked turning around to look at what I was staring at. "Oh my god..." She whispered. Everyone we came with, and I mean everyone, was running towards us. We tried to swim further out but was attacked by water when they all came crashing into the sea. "Oh my god!" Kayleigh screamed as Shawn lifted her up by her waist and chucked her further into the water. I laughed as everyone did there own thing.

I looked around and didn't see Toni. "Guys, where's Toni?" I asked. We all looked over to see her sitting on a deck chair with a magazine. "I've got this." Matt said determinedly as he walked out of the water towards her. We all waited for Matt to sort out whatever it was that he was going to sort out.

Toni's P.O.V

Everyone was going in the water and I really didn't feel like it today. I was reading my magazine when all of a sudden the sun was blocked out and drips of water were falling on my legs. I moved my magazine out of the way and looked up to see what it was. "Uh, Matt is it?" I asked the boy standing over me. "It is indeed. Now what are you doing up here reading a magazine?" He said with his hands on his hips. "Um... Reading a magazine..?" I laughed. "Not for long." He said smirking. He grabbed the magazine from my hand, put it down beside me then picked me up bridal style. "Matt put me down. Now!" I struggled to get out of his grip. "Nope!" He said laughing and running towards the sea. "MATT! NO!" I screamed before I was engulfed in water. "Oooh. You're going to regret that." I said as I surfaced. He winked before carrying on as normal.

Kay's P.O.V

Later that day we were all sitting on the sand, every now and then getting up to play a game of volleyball or something. "So have you boys started packing for Magcon? Not long now..." Matt asked excitedly. "What?" I asked. "Magcon. We go in just under a month." Nash said. I looked over at Shawn. "Can I talk to you for a sec, Kay?" He asked cautiously. "Go ahead." I said waiting for an explanation. We both got up and walked nearer to the ocean. "So you're going to Magcon and you didn't think to tell me?" I asked calmly. "Yeah, well I was going to tell you. I just didn't know when." He said. "Well now I know." I said looking out at the sunset. There was a long pause. "Iwantyoutocomewithme." He said extremely quickly. "Sorry, what?" I said raising my eyebrows. He laughed and said, slower this time, "I would like for you to come with me." "You. Want me. To come with you." I said taking it in. "Yeah, well if you want to. They called me and said that seeing as how well the video went, if we could sing Air?" He said smiling. "Wait who called you?" I asked. "The managers for Magcon." He smiled. "Are you serious about this?! You actually want me to come?" I said baffled. "Of course I do!" He laughed. "Then of course I'll come!" I said jumping on him and hugging him. He laughed and hugged me back.
