Nik's P.O.V

"WHAT?!" Kay screamed. "Yeah, I know! He asked me earlier!!" I said excitedly. "So you guys are together now?!" She said, dazed. "Yeah." I said smiling. "That is so cuteeeee!" She yelled. "I know, I know!" I said, still smiling.

The rest of the camping trip flew by and we've all been home for a couple of days now. It was Tuesday and school had just finished. I was going out on a date with Hayes tonight so I'm just about to get ready.

Kay's P.O.V

*texting*

Me: What are you doing tonight?

Nikki: I'm going out with Hayes, sorryyyyyy!

Me: Ugh, you suck! Jokes. Hope you both have funnnn!

Me: Have fun on your date ;) You touch her and I'll break your hand! Jokinggg, love you both!

Hayes: Thank you, I won't hurt her! You know that! Haha, we love you too!

Me: Please tell me you're not busy as well!

Shawn: No, I'm bored... Like always!

Me: Yay!! Do you want to hang out??

Shawn: Yeah, sure! You want to come over??

Me: Yeah, I'll be there in 5.

And then I walked to Shawn's.

I knocked at Shawn's house and waited like 5 minutes and he still hadn't answered the door. I called his phone...

*on the phone*

RING! RING!

RING! RING!

Shawn: Hello?

Me: Answer the door you dickhead!

Shawn: You're at the door?? I didn't hear you! I'm coming now.

He opens the door. "Finally! What have you been doing?!" I said. "I... Uh... Oh stuff it I was watching Hannah Montana..." He said. "Oh my God! I love Hannah Montana!" I said laughing as he let me in.

We went upstairs and watched a couple of films. We were snuggled up on the sofa in his room. "Shawn what are we?" I said before I could even think about what I was saying and I knew as soon as I said it that it was a bad idea. "We're friends...?" He replied. "Yeah I know that but what is this? This isn't what normal friends do..." I questioned. "Yeah well that doesn't mean we're not friends?" He said. "Yeah I know, I wasn't saying that?!" I exclaimed. "Well then why did you bring it up for Gods sake?!" He yelled. "You're unbelievable." I said getting up. "You were the one bringing up unnecessary things." He replied. "How the fuck is this unnecessary?" I screamed. "It just is!" He yelled back. "Whatever." I said walking down the stairs. "Where are you going?" He asked frustrated. "Somewhere you're not." I said and slammed the front door behind me.

We were fine and then I had to open my frickin mouth!!

Shawn's P.O.V

The minute she left I regretted not making her stay. I didn't know what to say to her question?! I didn't know what I wanted but I do now and I'm too bloody late. I will do everything in my power to make things right.

I decided I would finish the song I was writing to get my mind off things. Only now do I realise what I was writing about this whole time. Kay.

Nik's P.O.V

Me and Hayes were eating at Nando's when my phone bleeped. It was laying face up on the table in plain sight. As the text message lit up my screen Hayes caught a glimpse of it. I tried to pull it out of the way but he read it too quickly. "Did Courtney just text you telling you to kill yourself?!" Hayes whisper/screamed as we were in public. I stayed quiet. "Let me see the messages." Hayes said sternly. I passed him my phone and he scrolled through the messages. "Nikki, what the hell?! Why didn't you tell someone?" Hayes said. "I did, I told Kay but she thought it was only one message and I think she believes the messages have stopped." I said with my head down. "Why didn't you tell me...?" He said with a hint of sadness in his voice. "I didn't want to bother you with it, it's not a big deal..." I explained. "What? Yes it is?! No-one tells you, or anyone for that matter, to kill themselves and gets away with it!!" He said angrily. "Hayes, it's okay..." I said calmly. "No it's not! We are going to talk to her tomorrow about this!" He said waiting for my answer. "Okay." I said with my head down.
