Shawn's P.O.V

It was now Friday and I was in Performing Arts, which is my last lesson today. At the end of class Sir called me over. "Shawn that song you wrote for the assignment was really good, have you by any chance wrote some more?" He asked. "Thank you and um, yeah. I've wrote a couple." I replied. "Would you like to perform one of them in the schools Performing Arts Festival?" He asked. "Yeah sure that would be great." I said smiling. "Any idea what one you would sing? Only so I can put it in the programme." He said. "Well I'd like to sing 'Air' but it needs harmonies..." I said honestly. "You can always perform with someone, if you need to. Just let me know who you're going to sing with by Monday." He smiled.

I know the perfect person.

Kay's P.O.V

I was waiting for Shawn outside of school as I was going to his after school. "Hey! Kayleigh!" I heard from behind me. I turned around to see Shawn. "Oh, hey Shawn." I said smiling as he walked up to me. He grabbed my hand and we started to walk to his house. "Kay, would you like to sing with me in the schools Performing Arts Festival?" He asked me. "Yes!! What would we be singing?!" I said getting excited. "An original by me..." He said. "I GET TO SING AN ORIGINAL SONG BY SHAWN MENDES WITH SHAWN MENDES?!" I said joking around with him. "Only if you want to." He said smirking. "Never would I ever pass up the opportunity to sing with the most amazing singer/song writer I've ever known!" I said smiling. He smiled back. "I'll teach you it tonight. I'll be playing guitar as well." He explained. "You're just full of surprises, aren't you." I said raising an eyebrow. "He laughed and kissed my forehead.

Me: Are you guys free tomorrow?

Daniel: I ammmmm!!

Dionne: Me tooooo!!

Nikki: I can't I'm going out for a meal with my family, sorry guys.

Me: That's alright, Nik. Dan and Dee, do you want to come round mine??

Dee: Yaaaass!

Dan: Sure thaanggg!

Me: Brilliant. I'll see you both at 12:00pm!

Shawn's P.O.V

"Yaaay!" Kayleigh said. We were sitting on my bed and I was trying to teach her the song. "What?" I asked. "Dionne and Daniel are coming round mine tomorrow!" She said happily. "Kay. Focus." I said. "Okay, okay. Sorryyyyy!" She said hugging me. "It's okay." I said laughing and hugging her back. "So then you sing, Used to think that we would last forever,
How could I've been so wrong" I sung demonstrating how she should sing it. "Why are you so good!" She cried out, falling back on the bed. I laughed. "You're amazing Kay, shut up." I said propping myself up over the top of her. "Not as good as you." She said staring at me. "That's what you believe." I said kissing her. "You're cute." She laughed. "Come on, we need to get this done. The Festival is next Friday." I said helping her back up. "Let's do this!" She said with a serious face, making me laugh.
