Calming The Storms

~CHAPTER 40~

It's been a month. And Zhyra is going back to her old self.

I was busy cleaning the house when I heard the doorbell.

"Hoy ulan!" I greeted Rainsey.

Nahahawa na ako katatawag ni Zhyra ng ulan sa batang ito.

"Ate Azel good afternoon." she bow her head.

I prepared the lunch for her because Zhyra will also be here in a few minutes.

"Naghanda ako ng Paksiw tapos may ginawa din akong Strawberry cake para sa dessert." paliwanag ko kay Rainsey.

"Kailan ka po babalik sa Pilipinas?" she asked while tasting the cake.

Few days ago, I received a call from Amira. I need to be back next week because the news of me getting married already reach my parents.

I miss also working, Zhyra already explain to her friend everything.

We are just busy talking when I heard the car honking. It's Zhyra, she always do it everytime she is already home.

"Hey baby Ulan!" she kiss Rainsey cheeks.

"Ate Zhyra...." she mumbled.

"Yes baby why?" Zhyra asked.

"Next week is my 15th birthday, I want to celebrate it with you, Ate Syd and Ate Azel before she go back in Philippines." she announce with a wide smile.

"How about your Mom?" I asked.

Even her mother was totally against, I still consider her as a parent of the girl I love.

"I told her... but as always she will be going out of the town on my birthday." biglang lungkot ng boses ni Rainsey.

I stood up and get another dessert, her favorite chocolate mint ice cream.

"Then, saan mo gusto magcelebrate?" bawi ko.

"Beach!" she happily said.

It's evening now, Zhyra wants to watch Moana before she sleep. Baby na baby talaga siya.

"You really love Moana?" I asked while caressing her hair.

"Moana.... is the first movie I watch when I sneak at my school friend house." she explained while looking at my eyes.

I kiss her tip nose that made her blush.

"Kinikilig siya ihhhh.." I teased her.

"No. I'm not teenager to feel like that." she rolled her eyes.

"Di ka naman talaga teenager eh." bira ko pa.

Pero sinamaan niya ako agad ng tingin, bago tumayo at iniwan ako sa kama.

"Kasi mukha ka naman na Baby!" I called her.

"What? Baby? For god sake Azel." She looks so irritated.

I close my gap on her and hug her from behind. I kiss her shoulder before kissing her neck.

"You're my baby...." I whispered that makes her shivered.

"If I'm your baby.... then you will do what the baby wants." she smirked.

Agad akong umiwas ng tingin at tinakluban ang sarili ko. Tumawa siya agad na parang tanga.

"Ow... my Mommy is scared of what the baby can do." she bit her lower lips before pushing me to pin in the wall.

Wait di pa po ako ready sa mature role.
