Calming The Storms

~CHAPTER 54~

This is our last stop. Sault is the name of the province.

"I hope nandito siya..." I hold Zhyra's hand and she gently tap it.

Binati ni Trixie ang mga tao dito at nanlaki ang mata niya sa sinabi pero di namin yon marinig.

"Guys..." pasuspense niyang saad. "The other people said that someone currently move here 2 years ago!"

Tila nagdabog ang puso ko. It's Ethan, siya yon alam ko nararamdaman ko siya yon.

Nakita na namin siya sa wakas..

"Ayon yung bahay. Dito na lang kami ni Zhyra kasi ikaw lang ang nakakakilala kay Ethan." turo ni Trixie.

Zhyra hug me and kiss my hair.

"If anything happen, just shout we can hear you." paalala niya.

"Shout ha di moan." biro ni Trixie kaya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.

Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa bahay na parang palasyo. Walang bantay kahit isa, siguro dahil walang nakakakilala sa kanila kaya kampante ang tatay ni Ethan.

I saw an old lady cutting some dry leaves. She looked at me with a question look.

"Who are you Miss?" may accent siya guys.

"I think I'm lost. I was finding if some man live there." I hope di siya makahalata.

"Oh yes. He is Sir Ethan with his wife Mrs. Velen, they were here for almost 2 years." paliwanag ng kung sino man.

My eyes light up and happy to hear this.

"Can you call Ethan, tell him a friend wants to visit him." I plead.

"But I can't, his father will kill me." she leave me hopeless.

I look at Zhyra and Trix from away. I kneel and cried but I stop when someone tap my shoulder.

Ito na ata si Velen. Sobrang tangkad parang modelo pero mukhang mataray kasing magkasalubong ang mga kilay.

"Friend of my husband?" she asked.

Husband lol sa papel lang naman sila kasal.

"Yes I am, and we will bring him back." mataray kong turan.

Tumawa siya pero napakasosyal. Tapos kapag ako ang tumawa daig pa namental.

"Finally, the person he is finding for so long is here and already found him. Ethan tried to took his life numerous time when he married me." sadness was evident in her voice.

She still manage to smile at me. "But I think he still have someone that he wants to see. And I'm helping him to gather evidence to his evil father. Now that you are here, let Ethan summarize it."

Binuksan niya ang gate kaya pumasok ako. Sumunod sina Trix at Zhyra dahil di nila kayang iwan ako mag-isa.

Sobrant garbo ng bahay, madaming bulaklak bawat sulok. Ang wedding picture nila ay nasa gitna na makaagaw atensyon.

Ngunit di nakangiti si Ethan sa wedding picture na iyon. Tila patay ang mga mata niya dahil walang kabuhay-buhay.

"He is at that room. He usually doesn't go outside since we started living here." malungkot na pahayag ni Velen.

"Bakit di siya lumalabas?" tanong ko.

"Kung lalabas man siya, ang bukang bibig niya ay ikaw at ang magulang niya." she took a deep sighed.

"Do you know his past?"

She smile bitterly and nodded. "No one told me, but I did my research because I want to know my husband. Also..." she looked away. "I admire him for so long, but not to the point I see myself marrying him."
