"You know, for a quarterback, you're awfully bad at keeping your eye on the ball," she teased between kisses, her voice dripping with the same sarcastic wit she inherited from her dad. If someone told her a year ago she'd be making out in a janitor's closet of all places, she would've laughed them into oblivion. He shook his head, but the smile didn't leave his face. "Remind me why I'm dating you again?"
"Because I'm the only girl who knows what 'blitz' means and doesn't cry at rom-coms?" Growing up with her fathers no chick flick moments rule meant she also grew up laughing at sad movies, don't get her wrong, the odd movie can make her eyes get a little cloudy but majority of the time she laughed — she also blames her dad for that. She shrugged. "Plus, I'm a total catch—"
