VERMONT'S POV [PART 1]

SPECIAL CHAPTER

LIFE BEFORE HE MET HER AGAIN

"Panay pa rin stalk, Vermont. Bakit kasi hindi mo ina-add?" tanong sa akin ni Majesty habang hawak ang cellphone. I immediately hid it from her. I rolled my eyes before I looked at her.

"Stop nagging my business."

"Dzuh. Akala ko ba ay childhood crush mo lang 'yon? Why is it taking a long time? You're already in highschool."

I shrugged. "I don't know. Even though I haven't seen her in years, I still want to meet her. She's now 15 and I hope she still have not a boyfriend."

Tumawa kaagad siya sa tabi ko. "Paano mo nasisigurong walang manliligaw sa kaniya?"

"I don't know. But every night, I'm praying that she won't cry because of a man. I want her to be happy always. Then, once I get in in her life, I will do my best to give her the romantic relationship she deserves."

"Wow. You're so sure that she will become your first girlfriend, huh?"

"Of course," I said firmly.

Since high school, I received a lot of confessions from my schoolmates or even my classmates, but I didn't give them any attention. I'm tired of hearing them say, 'You're handsome; I want you to be my boyfriend.'

I appreciate their admiration, but sometimes they're off limits. They're harassing me in the classroom, like they're sitting beside me and holding my hands abruptly, which makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't want to look rude, but they're the reason why I became like an unapproachable person.

"Vermont, crush ka raw ni Janna. Iyong matalino sa kabila," one of my classmates said.

I looked at the girl, felt shy beside him. She smiled awkwardly. "Hi, Vermont. I'm Janna. . ." Iniwan kami ni Dos dito sa bonza. "Uhm, I like you."

"Thank you," tanging sagot ko bago ibinalik ang tingin sa binabasa ko.

"Thank you?" tanong niya. "Iyon lang? Wait. May nagugustuhan ka na ba?"

Tumango ako. "She's a lovely girl. . ." I looked at her. "Why?"

Umiling siya kaagad. "Una na ako. Salamat sa oras mo."

After a few years. . . I'm already in college. Khione is 17 years old already. I want to see her, but I refuse myself to have a vacation in our province. I don't want to ruin her dreams. I will let her finish her studies before I come into her life.

"Vermont, release tayo ulit ng new songs?" tanong ni Dos sa akin. He became the group's drummer.

"I don't have any inspiration right now," sabi ko. I lost my passion in writing music. I can't see the spark again.
