Chapter 1: First sights

"Oh my god... did you see that? Minho winked at me!! I told you I'd get him!" Your best friend squealed in delight. "Hey don't roll your eyes y/n you know how much I like him" she pouted.

"Y-yeah I'm sorry Mi-cha. I am happy for you" I gave her a slight smile. Mi-cha was the type of girl that any guy would love to have. She had the perfect body, her skin was flawless. She was fashionable & all her outfits were on point. On the other hand, I looked tomboyish. My hair was in a ponytail nearly all the time & my fashion sense is: if I'm comfortable, it's perfect. I was the type of girl where either boys would avoid because they're afraid or the type that they loved as a sister. When I think about it...it does upset me because what girl wouldn't want a guy to like her? But I always immediately shrug it off. I always stick to boys are d*cks you don't need them in your life. But that soon changed.

"ah aye y/n pay attention!!" Mi-cha snapped

"he he sorry... What were you saying?"

She just shook her head "I was asking if you liked someone? Do you have a crush?" looking at me all innocent.

"aish yah! Nuh-uh & I won't have one forever" crossing my arms whilst leaning back on my chair.

"But aren't you planning to get married I mean - - -"

"Miii-Chaaa ~ " I heard someone sing song - y her name. Turning my head towards the owner of that voice. It was my only friends with him because my bestfriend's crush is really good friends with him Jonghyun. "Minho wants you to meet him somewhere now. He gave me this to give to you here" He passed a note to the well dressed girl. Whilst looking at her expressions it was a good one as she quickly got up & waved a goodbye as she scurried away.

"I will never understand having a crush." rolling my eyes forgetting Jonghyun was still there.

"Hey they both like each other. I think it's cute!" he announced.

"If you think so. Wait what are you still doing here? Don't you have to go off to your friends who are clearly waiting for you" pointing with my head towards the three musketeers: Taemin, Onew & Key.

"They can keep waiting I don't want to leave you on the table alone." His smile was so cute.

"Phahaha I'm not a loner I can find someone else to hang out with you know?" I sneered at him

"You don't have to give me that look... we're friends you know? Can't I care about you?" His pout. Those eyes...looked like cute puppy eyes...

"Yeah I-I'm sorry, but what about - - - -

"jjongiee ~ " A girl said in a sing song - y way wrapping her arms around his neck & kissing his cheek. She whispered something in his ear and i caught bits of it. I think she said "why are you with scruffy weird looking [name]". Well that's what I think she said anyway. I gave them a awkward smile & got up without saying anything. I turned my back towards them and started walking in the opposite direction.

"Y/n wait!" I heard a voice call after me but I just ignored it & kept walking until I felt a tug on my bag. Slowly turning around to be faced once again with those puppy eyes... "Aren't you going to say bye or are you just going to leave?"

"Are you sure you want me to say bye to you? Don't you think I'm weird? Get off my bag already" pulling my bag out of his grip.

"Wha-Wha-What I don't think you're weird I think you're cool...you overheard what Lisa said didn't you? Well that's what she thinks. But I'm not like her. Plus we're friends!" Again that pout...

"heh yeah okay bye then" giving him a weak smile before continuing my way to the exit of the canteen. I could feel daggers on my back. Perhaps from his girlfriend, ignoring it whilst rolling my eyes.
