Chapter 4: ♫ Alarm Clock ♫

[*FLASHBACK*]

"YOU DID NOT JUST. YOU ATE MY BROWNIE!" a certain (h/c)(h/l) female chased a brown haired around the table. "COME BACK HERE YOU - YOU - YOU BROWNIE STEALER!"

"You have to get me! But you can never catch me!" the brown haired laughed cheekly. He thought he could outrun [Name] till Minho finally had enough of them both. He stood up a 2 seconds before Jonghyun was going to pass him, therefore making the shorter male bump into the taller one, making him stop. I wasn't far behind him, therefore before I could stop myself I bumped into Jonghyun; making me trip. I closed my eyes knowing the impact of the floor on my face will be extreme. But it never came. I felt a strong arm around my waist, I was on tip toes. I opened my eyes, putting both my feet firmly on the floor. Looking at my right was a toothy grin from the brunnette.

"Careful [Name], don't want to damage that pretty face of yours" giving me another one of his famous confident smiles. Every time he does that my heart flutters; i could feel a slight blush coming on i looked away from him. I could sense his dramatic surprise face. "Are you.... Blushing?" ~ he sing-song-y the last word. Obviously teasing me. "Should I put my other arm around your waist then?" whispering that in my ear as I felt a arm come around the other side of my waist, but before he could put it round fully; Quickly I squatted them both away.

"Pft! No! I am not blushing! I'm just hot from chasing after you! That's why my cheeks are pink or red or whatever!" I exclaimed pushing him slightly. I faced the other way crossing my arms.

"[Name], don't be mad, you can have my brownie if you like. I know you love chocolate" a sweet voice called to me.

"Aha, no it's fine Mi-cha - unni! You have your brownie I'm fine!" Giving the blonde haired girl a smile. Considering Minho was still talking/ fighting with Jonghyun I took the chance to sit next to her.

"You are happy with Minho oppa aren't you?" looking at her intensely with my big eyes.

"Of course! Every day spent with him is just. It's hard to explain. It's magical. Every time I see him it's like I see my hero. And when we're separate. I feel empty. You are free to laugh [Name] I know you will because you can't understand." looking at her Oppa with full of admiration. Waiting for her best friend to laugh but it never came. She looked towards the younger one worridly. "Are you ok? You're not laughing?" a strong sense of concern in her voice.

"Because well, I don't know if I do. But I might understand." Turning to the older female with a slight smile. Before Mi-cha could start interrogating me, Jonghyun approached us.

"[Name], can we talk in private I need your help...please?" Giving me those cute puppy dog eyes. Still slightly annoyed with him for stealing my brownie I gave him a firm yet almost mean sounding "fine".

Because we were at school and in the canteen where most students hang together to eat in their friend groups. Hence it was always loud. Therefore we left. We went through some hallways & up a few flights of stairs till we reached the top. Jonghyun opened the door leading on to a open clearing. The roof of the school. Some lonely people usually come here & have their lunch but luckily for Jonghyun there was no one there today.

"So why here? What's your "big Favour" ?" sitting on a card board box nearby. Still having my arms crossed as a joke. The roof wasn't exactly what you thought a roof would look like. It has went patches some places and it did have a slight damp smell to it but the wind always brought new smells, hiding that dampness. There were several stacked cardboard boxes piles near the right side wall of the door. The door was in the middle of the rectangular roof. The only thing stopping you from walking off is railings. To make sure no one accidentally fell. It was a nice place to be for peace & quiet.

"My big favour... I just hope you accept." he said in such a serious tone. I just looked at him. His back facing me. His hands held the railing. His whole posture screamed stressed/ nervous. slowly walking over to him; I put my hand on his back; lightly rubbing it.

"Hey! Tell me the favour of course i'll help you! Unless it's something so un reasonable. Omg... IS IT SOMETHING UNREASONABLE?! Jjong!!" I said teasingly trying to lighten up the mood. I covered my mouth & gave him my big surprised face, whlst taking a few steps back.

"Hahahahaha! You'd love it if it was unreasonable though wouldn't you? Don't deny it ~" he sing song-y the last word. as he turned to face you with a massive cheeky smile. He seemed more relaxed now, leaning on the railing.

"aish! nei!" crossing my arms & looking at the right of me with a pout which made the male laugh.

"Haha, don't deny [Name], if you want i'll just keep it between us two." giving me a wink. I just looked the other way, my arms still crossed and a pout on my lips. Just this tim with a slight pink on my face.

"Just be happy I'm not beside you right now otherwise I'd slap that face of yours." Giving him a jokingly glare. "Now tell me the favour?" looking at him in concern.

"Well erm.. you know I like someone? And that I would ask her out? Well i think i might do it within these weeks..." he confessed.

"That's great but why do you need my help?" confused at what the favour could possibly be.

"Well i don't know how to make a perfect day out. I mean I got one planned but I don't know if it's good. So on the 23rd of April I'll call you early & i won't tell you where we're going so it'll be a surprise, because it will all be a surprise for the girl I like. And I'll tell you when I plan to ask her out on that day. Can you do me that for me? I know it's a big thing to ask for but please?" His eyes were pleading, giving me those puppy dog eyes. His eyes glued on me waiting for a answer. I smiled at him.

"Of course. I'd love to help you & I'm sure whatever you've got planned will be perfect & amazing, you idiot." slapping the back of his head slightly.

"Thank you!! Thank you so much [Name]! " Jumping on me with excite, giving me a massive bear hug making me nearly fall. For some reason the hug lasted longer then our usual ones. My eyes closed with a small smile on my face. His strong arms were still wrapped around me. his warmth was radiating & his scent... I quickly snapped myself out of it, shaking my head furiously.

"Yeah , ok you're welcome. You can get off me now you pervert." teasingly I said whilst seperating myself from the hug. I had a slight chuckle till i looked over at Jonghyun's face, I burst into a fit of laughter.

"P - P - Pervert?! Oh I'm going to get you now!" he ran towards you.

"That is.. if you can catch meee! ~ " sticking my tounge out whilst running away from him laughing.

[*END OF FLASHBACK*]

"[Name], [Name] please wake up...." I heard voice in the distant pitch black.
