Supernatural II: Resurgence (Dean Winchester x Female!Reader)

The Prisoner

Dean and Ben cut wood and bring it over to a pyre they had built for Charlie. After Dean and (y/n) found Charlie's body, Dean called Ben and Peyton and they came and helped them clean up the motel and carry Charlie's body.

They brought her to the woods that was nearby the bunker and began to build the pyre. After Dean and Ben build the pyre, Peyton, Claire and Ryder were standing around it, all looking sad and upset. Ace sitting next to the kids and gave some soft whines, his ears drooped back.

(y/n) walks up as she carries Charlie's body, which was wrapped in white material, to the pyre and, with Dean and Ben's help, place her on it. Dean was then able to light the pyre and they all stand by and watch her body burn.

"Charlie. We're gonna miss you. You were the best. And I'm so sorry –" Dean said and (y/n) shakes her head. "Shut up. You got her killed, you don't get to apologize." She growled. "We were trying to help you." Dean argued and (y/n) turns to him, sharply. "I didn't need help. I told you to leave it alone." She said through clenched teeth.

"What was I supposed to do, just – watch you die?" Dean asked her, angrily. "The Mark isn't gonna kill me." (Y/n) yelled. "Maybe not, but – when it's done with you, you won't be you anymore. (Y/n), I love you more than anything. So of course, I was gonna fight for you because that's what we do. And listen, I had a shot—" Dean defended. "Yeah you had a shot. Charlie's dead. Nice shot." (Y/n) growls.

"You think I'm – You think I'm ever – gonna forgive myself for that?" Dean asked her and (y/n) bites the inside of her cheek, as if she wanted to say something but she stopped herself. "This thing, with Jaiden, and the book, ends now. Shut it down before somebody else gets hurt. You understand me?" (Y/n) said and Dean looks back into the fire, digesting this.

"And what about you?" Ben asked (y/n). "Oh I'm gonna find whoever did this. And I'm gonna rip apart everything and everyone that they ever loved. And then I'm gonna tear out their heart." (Y/n) growls. "Is that you talking or the Mark?" Peyton sneered and (y/n) glares at her. "Does it matter?" She asked then she walks away.

"Dad, what's mom gonna do?" Ryder asked, worried. Dean hesitates before he answers. "She's just gonna make sure the bad men that did this won't hurt anybody else ever again." He replied. "And what about us? What are we gonna do?" Ben asked him. Dean thinks for a moment then turns to the two. "I need you to take the kids and..." Dean said but Peyton shakes her head.

"No, Ben and I will are gonna stay with you. You need all the help you can get, Dean." Peyton said. "Yeah, we care about (y/n) as well and what's happening to her, it's an all hands on deck type of job." Ben said, firmly, and Dean looks between them and had a small appreciative smile on his lips.

"Fine, okay." He said then he turns to Claire and Ryder. "Kids, let's go see Uncle Bobby and Aunt Jody." He said and the kids nodded, not even bothering to argue.

Sometime later, (y/n) exits the motel room Charlie had died in, and talks on her cell phone. "Bobby. I just sent you some security cam footage of a black sedan. I need you to run the plates." She said. "Yeah can do, just give me a sec here." Bobby said and there was a moment of silence as he looks up in his laptop. "Weird. Uh, the vehicle's registered to Eldon Styne out of Shreveport, Louisiana, but there's no street address. This guy got something to hide?" Bobby asked.

"Yeah, big time. I'll fill you in later, thanks." (y/n) said. "Yeah sure, but um, isn't that what Dean's for?" Bobby asked. "He's busy." (Y/n) sneers then she hangs up and gets onto her motorcycle.

In the brewery, Jaiden is sitting at the table, flipping through the codex while Rowena is leaning against the support beam she was chained to, watching Jaiden intently. "Stop looking at me." Jaiden grumbled, not lifting her eyes from the pages of the codex.
